The Fraoch house is a great B and B; and my wife and I will definitely consider staying here in the future. The proprietor was outstanding in his helpfulness, patience (our inbound flight delayed two hours) and he cooks a tasty traditional Scottish breakfast. The room was nice and well equipped. The only negative for us was the squeaky springs...

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights in September and October for my brothers wedding. Garreth was so friendly and welcoming! He put up with my crazy family's antics with grace and a smile on his face! The rooms are extremely quaint and the breakfast is delicious!! If you want to stay in a place with excellent service,...

We were met by Gareth, the owner, and he made us feel at home immediately. Great atmosphere, very comfortable room amd excellent en suite bathroom. Convenient location to bus stops and easy to get to all of the touristy places. Little extras like candy in the room every day, Gareth providing great advice about the city, and wonderful breakfast.Parking might...

Recently, my friend and I stayed at Fraoch House. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. I really liked that there was a small couch and chair in our room making it more than just a place to sleep. The room wasn't the best part though. Gareth is the best part. He is an awesome host. He spent a...

This was our first trip to Edinburgh and had an amazing weekend. We arrived at the B&B in the morning and we were greeted by Kat who offered us breakfast and a cup of tea whilst she went to get the paperwork. She then came back to explain to us where to start and provided maps offering us further help/recommendations...

We chose Fraoch house based on Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed in the least. We were two couples travelling in late August for the festival .Each of us thought our rooms were very nicely appointed. The bathroom was spacious enough and I really liked the ample shelving space which is usually always missing in older establishments. Everything...

It was clean, well kept up, great breakfast, lovely hosts. Gareth was very engaging. He carried our luggage up for us, which was a help. If you need an elevator, you want to ask for the one room they have on the main floor. Depending on how much space you need, the room was had maybe was a little small...

Really a lovely guest house - big elegant rooms, modern roomy bathrooms, super yummy breakfasts. I recommend the potato waffles and they make a mean poached egg. The bed was comfortable. Gareth, the host, was very nice and let us leave our luggage with him a few days before we actually checked in because we were off on a tour...
