My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night in December 2014. For a £76 double room we were placed in room 40, which was actually next door to the main hotel where an extra 3 rooms were situated down a bare corridor....More

We stayed over at the Piries hotel as we had xmas party nights out in Edinburgh. Hotel is cheap and cheerful, have to say staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and functional, bed a bit on the hard side but ok. Wifi...More

We stayed here for our anniversary it was close to the station and local shops ideally for just sleeping here we didn't eat or drink in the hotel some staff were very helpful and pleasant some were rude but that's just training was very disappointed...More

Hi Selina I stayed in the standard twin room which was ok, the executive twin room is probably a little nicer but I've never stayed in one. I'd only stay here if I had to catch an early train as it's only across the road... More
