A friend and I stayed for two nights and found Danny and Jasmine to be the perfect hosts. The room had both a double and a twin bed as well as a big comfortable easy chair, TV and ensuite bath. I had injured my knee and was confined to the big chair for part of my visit and Danny was...

After a top to bottom driving tour of Scotland in May of 2015, my niece could not stop raving about the porridge at MacKenzie Guest House. We had comfortable beds in a quiet room, an amazing hot breakfast; fried tomatoes, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and porridge, though a well stocked cold breakfast buffet; cereal, juice, bread, jams etc. was also...

Hosts Danny and Jasmine provide the perfect respite from the noise and clutter of the Castle area in a cozy setting across from Leith Links (park). It's only a 10-minute bus ride to the Castle Area and passes of various durations are available depending on the length of your stay. The breakfast is well balanced and eggs are made to...

Really enjoyed my stay here - I felt the hosts were attentive and polite and I enjoyed that they weren't overbearing - just the right amount of attention. Really smashing couple you won't be disappointed here.

Myself and a mate spent the last week of the Fringe festival here and were totally satisfied. The owners are very friendly and attentive and always went out of there way to accommodate us, whether it was with offers of extra breakfast or a spare room key. The room itself was modest but well kept, and the toilet/shower facilities were...

Doesn't look much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised when we got in, We was staying in...

I stayed here for three nights. The good things: friendly and obliging hands-on owners; room (3) very quiet (faces south roughly); room and bathroom nice and clean on arrival; lovely thick curtains; good breakfast, and not too much that one might be tempted to stuff oneself; extra blankets in room if cold. Also, free on-street parking outside. There was always...

This B&B doesn't look too promising from the outside - could do with a coat of paint etc. However, this impression is quite wrong since it is a great B&B run by Danny and Jasmine Tang who make one's stay there top quality. Everything inside is excellent quality and done in really good taste. The bed linen, the curtains etc...

Clean, comfortable, good hearty breakfasts, friendly and welcoming, also very helpful on what to do around Edinburgh. Bus stop just outside that takes you into central and to/from the airport. The walk into town is a bit far, about 20mins, so a bus is definitely the best option. All in all, great value for money! Thank-you.
