We had a nice 2 days stay in the place. The breakfast was very nice and best part was they also had vegetarian option. The only small drawback is that if you are arriving late at night like we were you might have to take a cab specially if you have luggage. During the day there is a bus stop...

David who owns and runs The Conifers is a wonderful host. Very helpful on information about Edinburgh. Very good vegetarian breakfast. Spotlessly clean place. Only 20 minute walk into the centre. Could not have asked for more. We had such a good time in Edinburgh that we have decided to go back and will stay at the Conifers again

This place is amazing. You choose your breakfast the day before(they also have a veggie option. And haggis if that's your jam) and write down when you want to eat. The feeling of going into the hallway in the morning, discovering the scent of breakfast being cooked and knowing it's for you is amazing. It felt so good I instantly...

We only stayed one night but all in all the standard was very high. The property was very clean, the breakfast excellent and was situated an easy walk into the city centre. The next time we are visiting Edinburgh we will certainly be staying at the Conifers.

We arrived at this hotel for a girly weekend away and was welcomed with a warm reception and a very Christmassy front room which definitely got us in the Christmas spirit. The location is superb, walking distance from the centre, or alternatively a cheap bus/taxi fare away. The room was big and had a double bed and a single bed....
