We've just spent a lovely weekend in Edinburgh staying at the Murrayfield Hotel, for my husband's birthday. I didn't realise until after I'd booked it, that Scotland were playing Wales in the Six Nations on the Saturday and of course the stadium is across the road from hotel! As it was, it caused us no problems and in fact my...

The room was immaculate and the bed seemed extremely cosy but we avoided that just in case... After the game we got changed and went for something to eat a day returned around 9pm. We were went to our room but around 10pm the bass from the bar band increased substantially. I phoned reception and in fairness they explained that...

Good morning, Thank you for your review. The rugby is indeed something on a different scale for us in terms of number of visitors and how we manage things across the weekend. Each year we review every aspect of the offer and work very hard to maintain the balance between guest enjoyment and guest comfort and we do ensure all...

We were up for the match. Ideally situated, friendly and efficient staff. Nice room but my wife didn't like the grey paint. The food was good both at breakfast and at dinner although there was a limited menu on a rugby international day. . We would go again although I would have preferred a lift to our room on the...

Stayed here for a night. Food was very nice. Our room 204 at the front was huge with Rolltop bath. Bus stop was outside with 4 stops to the city centre. Warm, spacious room, Great food, good bar and close to the city centre, what more could you ask for. Will stay again on our next visit.

A special visit to Edinburgh and Murrayfield for the Scotland Wales rugby match. Nine friends gathered for drinks and lunch. After a beer in the busy special beer tent, erected in the front car park of the hotel for the occasion of international weekends, we enjoyed the relative calm of the comfortable hotel dining room for a pre match lunch....

Comfortable stay. Bus stop very close to hotel. The local bus service is excellent - buses into centre every 5 mins. Reception and waiting staff very friendly and knowledgable. One of the bar staff not so -not a people person. Room - a basic double - on the small side - but not as small as an average budget hotel...

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am very pleased to read that you would return to us based on this stay. “Rom 210 was very quiet at the end of a long corridor but as stated above needed some TLC. If you wanted a scenic view then this isn't the room to book as it looks out on to an uninspiring garden, with a gabian wall and ground water pipes which should be buried underground but are for some reason still on the surface. ”
