We booked the hotel at the last minute for the 29th December winter months and very cold. It was very cold and miserable. Having a 3 month old it was very worrying and I went downstairs to see no staff anywhere (apparently only there till 11am) I did not sleep even though i had layers on and a woolly cardigan....

Advertised as a 3star Hotel, it isn't it's a guest house. Room was filthy, rubbish behind the beds, dirty walls, body hairs in the shower and open shampoo containers from previous guests, floor hadn't been hoovered, shower held together with cable ties and then there was a brownie red stain on the mattress protector! Room was stinking of ammonia and...

My partner and I stayed here over the Hogmanay weekend and enjoyed a comfortable and pleasant stay. It is quite close to Edinburgh Zoo but It is a quite a distance from the city centre if walking but there are buses that run frequently to the city, the number 26 taking you to Princes street. As we were driving into...

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Internet did not work properly and our room was dirty and in the attic. Very narrow, curved, steps to access. This was not a handy location for us, but that isn't their fault. Too far from the city, too far from the airport and located on the main thoroughfare, so very busy and...

The hotel consists of two large Victorian Gothic town houses and boasts a large number of extremely large family rooms. Corstorphine house is located about 4 miles from the centre of town and as such is ideally located if you are...

HORRIFIC!!! The brochure states; "Superior Self-Catering at an Affordable Price" Dirty bed with hair still on the pillow Filthy curtains that have NEVER been cleaned. Kitchen was disgusting. Wallpaper and ceiling covering falling off The general state of accommodation made a student house look clean and tidy. I was 'put' in the apartment called Westhaven as the main B&B was...

My husband and I stayed here on 26th June 2011 for one night. After being away the previous 2 nights in the Highlands staying in a youth hostel I was looking forward to the comforts I am normally afforded in a hotel. Unfortunately this hotel did not provide me with any of those comforts. Upon arrival we had to call...

A very pleasant and peaceful clean place just between the airport of Edinburgh and town city. Been on a 10 days tour round Scotland and this was the best value for money.
