We stayed three nights and had to get changed into three different rooms due to the first night the boiler room making our heater make the loudest noise I've ever heard and making it all night so we got about 2 hours sleep, than we asked to swap rooms the next day so the receptionist booked us in a new... Although it's personal is really kind and the place is clean, wifi connection never works, the common areas aren't cozy at all, there's drunk people in the rooms and people having sex, and the staff didn't managed to change our room... Really uncomfortable to deal with these things

Absolutely loved this hostel. It in the most prime location, incredibly close to everything and right across from the train station. The staff were super friendly, and the bar attached was great! There is a free breakfast but its not much, great when you are only there for a couple mornings though. There are a ton of stairs if you... More

This hostel was in the best location for travellers coming from Waverley station - it could not be closer and more convenient. We stayed in a 4 person room with a private bathroom and it was clean and comfortable. The only downside is it can be a little noisy at night, but with earplugs you will be fine! Breakfast was... We booked in here as a stag party. On booking we were split over 2 rooms, which was kind of expected due to our group's size. As we are not big backpackers I'm not sure what I should point out to others but as far as I'm concerned as hostels go this can't be far off perfect. It was clean,... More

A clean hostel is a good hostel. Along with a great location, I would definitely stay there again if I ever find myself back in Edinburgh. I was in an all female dorm, and was rather surprised by the homebody personalities there. The other guests seemed a bit closer to the regular hostel-going types, so probably just a fluke. The... When I arrived, the lift was broken down and we had to carry our 30kg luggage through narrow staircase all the way to the top -- Bad first impression. Fortunately, the receptionist was lovely and helpful. The rooms were quite worn out, with weird odor and inconsistent types of bed. We didn't spend too much time in my room and... More

I'm very thankful for the staff and the hostel itself. For a very good price I'm having a nice warm room, comfortable bed and insuite shower. Even view from the window is nice because the railway station is all in glass and looks cery beautiful at night with all the nice buildings behind. The bar they have is very friendly... More

I stayed here for 1 night while I was travelling to work and arrived late not feeling too great. It's right outside the train station, which was perfect because I'd been on a bender the night before and didn't really fancy walking far. Check in was straight forward, I paid under £10 for a bed in a 10 bed mixed... More
