I work for a national charity, and as all of the staff are being encouraged to be frugal with the money donated by our supporters I reserved a bed for two nights at this place when visiting Edinburgh to meet with a colleague. The deal was fifteen quid a night for a bed in a dorm (having three double bunks...

I stayed on the 4th floor, the bathroom in that floor was constantly dirty or out of order (I had to use the 1st floor bathroom) and the showers were dirty too I had to ask for the time they cleaned it so I could use it right after cleaning, but they were very comfortable to use. Also the sinks...

Excellent time! Audrey the ham chief made the stay especially good with her breakfast organisation skills! Will be coming back for sure! Good vibes and a pretty fun bar downstairs :) It was cheap with a good breaky!

Usually I make a little review from hostels where I sleep, this has been the worst I've ever seen... Very very tiny rooms. We had a unexpected guest, a little rat in the room... First of all the guys not seem very surprised with this situation. And the options they gave me were not good at all. I do not...

I would recommend this hostel for people arriving late or leaving early from the train station. Pros are its cheap and the location. If you were staying a few nights in edinburgh its worth a short walk up the hill to castle rock hostel. I thought there were too many beds in the rooms and the chillout room/lounge could be...

My first international trip to UK and I wanted to cover as much as possible! I did London-Scotland-Paris and had a blast solo in some cities and others with a friend 🙌🏽 I booked St.Christopher's through Hostel World and after reading reviews almost EVERYWHERE! The best part about this one is, its location, its bang opposite Waverley station and is...

It is a cheap place to just sleep on a busy trip. The staff were very friendly and it is in a great location for the city centre. However our group of 5 was split up which left 2 people on their own in separate rooms. My room had an en-suite which had some slight mould on the ceiling, and...

Good nice hostel. Extremely friendly staff, both hostel and bar staff. Decent food served. Located in the centre of the city. Only complaint I have is the elevator. Staying on the top floor and it's pretty daunting if you're claustrophobic as if feels like it'll just stop and be stuck in there. Other than that, good hostel.

Decent hostel just in front of the Waverley train station. Clean rooms and areas, very nice pub with live music events and nice breakfast just for 3extra pounds. The staff was friendly and helpful. Extra credit for the curtains in every single bed, so you can be kind of isolated.
