We were there for 5 days. I and my adult daughter. Room 6. Very nice view and very pleasant room. Excellent bed linen. Clean. Cozy. The owner, Jim, tried to make our staying the most comfortable. Liked everything. Thank you, Jim!

Stayed here for 3 nights bed and breakfast. We were on the top floor at the front. From our window we could see Edinburgh Castle. Full English Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Bus stop outside the property, the buses run every ten minutes into the city centre. The bed was comfortable, the room airy. En suite was a wet room.

This is a very clean and comfortable guest house, with a very accommodating host. I only stayed one night but could happily have stayed for more. The room I had was at the rear of the hotel so it was quiet, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable so I got a good nights sleep. The bedding and towels were spotless... More

I stayed at BrigO'Doon guest house whilst attending a seminar in Edinburgh for 4 days. It was quick easy to access New Town area and the City Centre, and a pleasant quiet location to stay. The beds were comfortable and the traditional aspect of the building made it very welcoming and cosy. It also provided every modern convenience such as... More

We stayed for 2 days at the Brig O'Doon Guest House. A bus stop is in front of the Guest House so one can conveniently get to sites within the city . It took us only a few minutes to get to the Royal Mile where we then walked to the Edinburgh Castle. Jim, the owner of Brig O'Doon, was... More

The owner, Jim, is friendly, helpful and accommodating. He quickly got us started on getting around the city, then stayed out of the way until we needed him again. Our particular room and bathroom were spacious for a B and B and the room had a nice view of the city. Two buses run--one just outside the front door, and... More

We stayed at this B & B for three nights in March 2011. The rooms were very nice. It was affordable. And best of all the bus service stopped right outside the front door. It was just a 10 minute bus ride to the royal mile. Breakfast was perfect for the price. The owners were always friendly and available. I... More
