We booked 7 rooms as part of a business trip. The rooms are comfy and the decor is nice throughout, however, not the cleanest. There were hairs in the bathroom and cobwebs in the corners. Be aware the towel rails get so hot two of our party burned themselves. One guest was

“Oh to be young again...” Valentine’s day arrival. Love was in the air. Upon our arrival at the Salisbury Hotel, our spirits were high. This boutique hotel perches like a small bird or squirrel near the corner of Salisbury road. We traversed the 8 steps up to the front door and

Dear Mike H It was a pleasure to read your glowing review of our hotel. Your comments are so kind and so very welcome. You have given such a detailed review that it is hard to know where to begin, I can only say a massive thank you for all your kind comments. Your comments on our recently open Spencer’s Bistro are also a pleasure to read. I have shared your feedback with the Chef who join me in thanking you for taking the time to write. Thank you again for taking the time to post such an uplifting review. Kind Regards The Salisbury Hotel

I reviewed this hotel favourably around a year ago, whilst noting its eccentricities i.e. (no staff in the hotel overnight), and that the bed mattress in my room was too soft. I returned last month and endured the most uncomfortable night's sleep of my life. The room I stayed in

Thank you for leaving a review, we are very glad to see that you enjoyed your meal with Spencer's.( please note - this is our hotel site and not Spencer's Restaurant site - see Spencer's Bar and Bistro for future information and reviews). I would like to reply on behalf of the restaurant as they are still part of our hotel business. Spencer's Bistro would like to make it very clear as they found your rude behaviour to their restaurant staff unwarranted at the time of your visit - Steak is from a Cow, not from a plant matter, therefor not vegetarian, and while they do understand that Christmas is an expensive time of year for guests and all alike, they take offence to people taking advantage of their group-on deals and asking for vegetarian options from our a la carte menu when they have clearly bought a "STEAK FOR 2 DEAL" at a very discounted price", and then becoming rude and hostile in their restaurant, even when their staff were trying to offer an alternative option in your haste. We would advise that you read the small print on any vouchers for other restaurants in the future to avoid any unnecessary embarrassment or bad will
