This boutique hotel was ideally located with the number 31 and 37 bus take you to town and the 31 taking to the Murrayfield stadium itself. Bed a bit too soft for me but the room was more than adequate and tea and coffee provider. Has the advantage of parking. Breakfast was big and well cooked and quality bacon and...

I stayed here with a last minute booking and was delighted with the room and the staff. there was no heating on as I'd not booked I just turned up but the staff were extremely helpful in turning on heating and making sure I was warm enough. The room was a good size with a king size bed with a...

Chosen because of the free parking. Quiet time of the year and therefore a quiet hotel located in a quieter part of the city. Room kindly upgraded. Nice room/ bathroom with comfy bed. Friendly receptionists.

Decent little hotel in a convenient location for the old town. Room was small but functional (and very clean), bathroom very small and barely functional. Excellent service. Pity about the wifi, though, which was hopeless - I for one would rather pay £5 and get a fast and reliable connection, than be promised 'free' wifi which doesn't work. :(

I stay in a lot of hotels on business and the firm pays top prices for hotels that are nowhere near as comfortable and friendly as this one. A true bargain at £55 for a spacious double room with all the usual facilities and a warm welcome from Mark the receptionist who greeted us. Well done all.

My partner and I stayed here when we fancied a spontaneous trip to Edinburgh. We spotted a great deal online and when we arrived they upgraded us at no extra cost which was a bonus. Returned from a great Edinburgh break on 25th November, having stayed at the Salisbury for 3 nights. The reason for my trip was to visit an elderly relative and I chose this hotel because of its proximity to her address. I paid for a double room (Abbeyhill, lower ground level) but only because a single was unavailable on all of...

The Salisbury is located in a quiet area. It is a large Townhouse that is a perfect mix of a Historic and Modern setting. It is a good value for the money, kept in pristine condition, comfortable beds and great breakfast.
