While described as a boutique hotel this did not compare with other boutique hotels that I have stayed in. I would consider it more of a guest house. My stay reminded me of my days as a student living in a bedsit. Overall, the hotel is clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Dear Iga 131 Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on your recent stay with us. It was truly disappointed to hear you experience was not to the standard you normally receive at The Salisbury and not what either of us would expect. Classically inspired interiors are a feature of The Salisbury and we are regularly complimented upon; therefore, I was sorry to learn that you were disappointed with the design. Therefore I was glad to read you found the restaurant team to be pleasant and the bed comfortable and we thank you for sharing this kind impression. Again, thank you for your constructive feedback regarding the signage and I will be sharing your comments with our entire team as this gives us an opportunity to improve our services to our guests. I sincerely hope you will reconsider returning to the hotel should you be returning to Edinburgh in the future. Kindest regards The Salisbury Hotel
