We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Town House: a warm welcome, a comfortable room and a good breakfast. An excellent location, not far from the Usher Hall and The Playhouse Theatre. We shall be looking forward to returning when we are next in Edinburgh.

We spent 4 days at The Town House at the beginning of our vacation. When we first arrived it was after traveling for almost 24 hours straight. We couldn't have received a warmer welcome from Susan and her husband, Robert. Robert even carried our cases up both flights of stairs for us! Our room was ready, which was good because...

I stayed here before and after a group tour and enjoyed it both times, even though my stay was brief. Comfortable, quiet room, good breakfast, convenient location, and friendly hosts. Also, it was fun watching them learn how to use a credit card machine!

It's not easy to find reasonably priced accommodation in Edinburgh. The Town House is the solution between noisy hostels and pricey hotels. A good 30 minutes on foot from the centre, yet with a bus stop right opposite the building, it is located on a quiet street along many b&b. The house is old, so be prepared for a lot...

Thrilled with our choice of B&B. Charming, friendly, helpful and informative hosts, Susan and Robert. All their suggestions were spot on. Wonderful breakfasts. Comfortable, clean, quiet but darkish room up 2 steep flights of stairs - only drawback for the "elderly". Good, on site car parking - a bonus for this busy city. City centre within easy walking distance, using...

Recently stayed there on our travels from Australia around UK , was spot on for comfort , location & free parking. Lovely hosts , at tentative yet not intrusive . Only one negative - no haggis to try at breakfast time - or is Haggis just not eaten at breakfast!! Definitely recommend this B& B 👍

Had a fanstastic break in a beautiful city. Accommodation was in a lovely victorian house which has obviously been loving restored. Susan and Robert were very good hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Room was nicely decorated and very comfortable with a fab onsuite. Breakfast was excellent. There was also free parking available. We were within walking distance of...

I have stayed here a few times over the years for a range of reasons: Spacious, very comfortable rooms. This is a classy example of Edinburgh architecture. The service is attentive, but you do not feel 'fussed over'. The cooked breakfast is excellent, and the location is central. It is easy to find in the car. A big plus is...

Very central and yet busses near by. Lovely room ensuite. The bedding and towels fantastic which made me feel good and comfortable like being at home. Both Susan and Robert looked after me like a long lost friend which is nice when travelling on your own. Scrumptious cooked breakfast with loads of tea. Thanks very much for everything. Next time...

Stayed here with my wife for my 30th Birthday. Really beautiful Victorian building, and made to feel very welcome during our entire stay. The room was very comfortable and cosy, and we both slept well throughout the stay. Breakfast was also very good, and the owners were always happy to accommodate special requests (my wife is allergic to what). Fantastic...
