Been here several times for food, never been let down. From their haggis balls to their sunday roasts! We tend to have the haggis balls with the chilli dip which we both love. Burgers are nice as is just about everything else. Nice mix of drinks too.

This is our local pub and thought we would head along for some food. I would advise booking at the weekend as the restaurant area isn't huge and gets very busy. The food is lovely, I had haggis balls and a steak and both were really well cooked. Nice selection of beers and wines too.

Lovely lunch here with friends. I only had the main course of steak pie and it was delish, my friend had the fish and the portion was huge, very filling and no room for desert. Decor nice and fresh. Would recommend for a pub lunch and will be back in the future. Yum yum

Visited for the first time 2 nights ago. Food very good quality and like that some of the options offer you a small portion. I had small fish and chips and it filled my plate and stomach too. The only slight negative I would say is that you need to book up in advance and also there was a long...

We went to the Riccarton Inn with our daughter, who's at university in Edinburgh, for lunch. It's a very nice pub, with a good selection of real ales and friendly staff, but the real highlight was the food. We all had the halloumi wrap, and it was simply one of the best pub meals I've ever had: fresh, tasty and...

I liked how you could have a starter as a main.Wide choice to choose from. I loved the elderflower fizz cocktail. Nice atmosphere. Definitely go...

This pub had a refurb over a year ago and you can tell. Well presented with both bar and seating areas. Nice atmosphere on evening. We had steak burger and haggis and lemon soul. Very good. Glad they kept curry sauce in separate dish for the fish, would have ruined it. This pub is worth a visit if you are...

Enjoyed lunch here today with friends and family. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome. Advised on the best place to sit with a buggy. The menu was varied with lots of choice to keep everyone happy. I felt it was taking a while for the food to arrive but when it did it was obviously freshly cooked...

Been here for lunch several times now since new owner took over and gave the place an extensive make over. Good choice of food on the menu and a good selection of ales and whisky. Family friendly and the staff take time to ensure you are getting good service.
