Spent a couple of nights here over the weekend. have to say it was a nice little stay. Hotel is nice and clean and the restaurant/bar are nice although a little expensive. Although busy it never seemed to busy. If we ever come back we would stay again.

Just back home from a fabulous night and day away with my family and stayed in the Marriot for the night. The staff were lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Easy check-in and very spacious room. Very comfy beds after a very busy day exploring Edinburgh City. We used the pool

The hotel itself is minutes from the airport and transport links to the city centre. The airport bus is probably the cheapest and easiest option but if your travelling in a group then a taxi might be easier from the airport. The rooms have very comfortable beds, power showers

Normally I don’t eat dinner at hotel when I’m traveling, but found out tonight that I made a good decision to stay in and enjoy dinner and a glass of wine at the Cast Iron Grill. Special of the day was steamed sea bass, and it was delicious. Enjoyed it very much.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming to the hotel. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent. Our waitress was very charming and so helpful and was a delight to speak with. The room was very neat and clean and allowed enough space for my children

Yes there was a small gym. The pool was available until 10pm and children were allowed until this time. I assume the gym is the same.

I don’t know what they would do. As a guest there was no charge for parking but not sure what they will do if you have checked but your car is still there. I would contact hotel and speak with the manager to verify. Get a name as there seemed to be revolving people at the desk.

There is a bus right in front of the hotel that will get you to the airport or to the city. A train station 200 m away as well. It’s a bit far from Royal Mile (10-15£ with a cab) and about 1km away from the zoo.

Check out the Airlink 100 bus timetable. Only £2.50 and 2 stops-10 minutes from airport. I am pretty sure it runs 24 hours. It stops right out the front of hotel.
