Stayed a weekend with friends in flat 4. spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice kitchen and living room. Handover was swift and professional.
it wasn't the best apartment but solid, really good?
All clean, sufficient fresh towels, fast & free internet. Kitchen is fully equipped.
An excellent set up for our Stag weekend. Very comfortable. A couple of small tweaks needed (flat 2 bathroom lock not working for example) but overall a great location - opposite the tram line! Direct route to and from the airport too.
We arrived at 1:30am and had the access codes and instructions to let ourselves in thanks to good communication in the week before our arrival.
Very impressed with the spacious apartment and location.
Our apartment easily and comfortably catered for 6 people.
Very much appreciated...More
Huge Apartment, 5 of us stayed could of been 10 with room to spare. Clean bathrooms and ideally located approx. 15- 20 mins walk to the castle. plenty of bars locally as well. Communications were excellent and will definitely stay again when we return!
A perfect apartment in a perfect location- would stay again without hesitation. Destination Edinburgh customer service was excellent, couldn't ask for more. Exceptionally clean, modern and well equipped.

Broughton & Calton

Destination Edinburgh York Place Apartments Scotland
Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to malls and utilitarian housing, Broughton and Calton have long been transitional neighbourhoods with a mixed identity. It’s here that Edinburgh’s gay village found a home in the 1980s. But gay culture is anything but overt along bustling epicentre Broughton Street; even if polished pubs, hip bistros, smart delis and art galleries all speak of affluent good taste. The
top of Leith Walk is more ragged. This major thoroughfare boasts a famously gritty gay club, as well as a strip of good Indian restaurants. Regal Georgian and Victorian townhouses preside over largely deserted streets in Calton, where only the occasional restaurant or hotel brings much life. Even so, a steady trickle of idlers and picnickers pass by to climb Calton Hill for its wide-open lawns, wonderful city views, and curious monuments – an Athenian-style temple among them.
