Very nice and cosy place, quite close to the city center which is also reachable theough several bus lines. Room was spacious, had all required facilities. The staff is extremely polite, warm and welcoming.

Just one night in this very clean, friendly and well located Guest House. Our room was very spacious. We loved the bone china crockery made available throughout the guest house. We arrived just as the new owners arrived, yet still hosted to our room without delay. The beds are exceptionally comfortable so we all awoke having experienced a brilliant nights...

I stayed at the International Guest House for a night during the summer and really enjoyed my stay! The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly and made me feel completely at home - I especially really appreciated this as was travelling by myself and had an assessment the next day so was slightly stressed! The breakfast was lovely with quite...

Very clean and comfortable accommodation, bus to city centre located across the road. Very helpful owners. We did not have breakfast as we left early to go on day tours. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Stayed overnight with a friend whilst attending a seminar. Twin room was basic and definitely not value for money. Dated décor and old fashioned blankets and quilt instead of duvet. Milk sachets were out of date and when I handed these to the owner and told him, he just laughed!! Unfortunately, I left an article of clothing behind and, whilst...

Despite the friendly owner, there are many, many nicer B&Bs to stay in. There was an odour as soon as you entered the building. Our basement room reminded me of the set of Rising Damp - took me right back to rented flats in the 1970s. Breakfast was dire - it was certainly not a traditional Scottish breakfast. I guess...

We stay here three nights during the Edinburgh Festival. We were very disapointed. The room was adequate although our ensuite felt more like showering in a converted wardrobe. The Scottish Breakfast did not include either Haggis or Porridge. The orange juice and coffee were low quality. Fresh fruit comprised of a few bananas. When we asked about the possibility of...

I stayed for 1 night with my daughter attending Edinburgh University Open day. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The owners were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
