My mom and I stayed two days at the Abcorn Guest House, loved every minute of it. Grand house with early 19th century charm and character. The hosts are just as charming, very accomodating, quick to offer information about the city. There's a bus stop right outside their door to take you directly into the city for cheap cheap. The breakfast...

We always stay at the Abcorn when we visit Edinburgh. Now that it has changed hands, we are STILL pleased with excellent location and service. Tony and his friendly smile is so welcoming. Anything you need and he is on it! The Abcorn is a brisk 20 minute walk from Princes Street or you can take a bus from the...

We had a two night stay at the Abcorn Guest House. It was outstanding. The room was clean and spacious (though the floors were a bit creaky), the breakfast was outstanding, the service was outstanding. They helped us print boarding passes, call a taxi to the airport and even packed us sandwiches and snacks for our last morning, because we...

I stayed at the Abcorn for two nights and had a really pleasant stay. The room was nice and comfortable and the breakfast was good. The hosts are really friendly and give a warm welcome on arrival. The location is convenient and easy to get into the city centre by bus. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone...

I stayed at this B&B in a double room which was very comfortable and clean. There are tea and coffee facilities, a TV and en suite. I thought this was good value for money. However, we were told on arrival that breakfast was only served between 8-9am. As I was staying on a weekend and had been working all week...

We stayed here for two nights en route to The Applecross Peninsula. Abcorn House is a little way out of the city but a pleasant and easy walk to the centre. Buses stop outside the front door and are frequent. The house is somewhat dated but our room was comfortable and perfectly acceptable. Our host was friendly and welcoming. It...

We arrived late and he enthusastically provided dinning information for us. He even helpt me return the delated item from amazon. The guest house is located in a perfect place. Arthur's seat is...

Stayed here for one night last weekend when I was attending a wedding at Prestonfeild house. I had a single room which was very small but very clean and comfortable. The house itself was a little old fashioned but very clean and peaceful. Location was ideal for me and close to everything you really need. Main owner/manager was really helpful...

We were very pleased with the accommodation which was roomy, clean and well furnished. The en-suite(shower only), although small was clean and well-maintained. On a convenient bus run into the city centre and passing the Festival Theatre. Bus stop outside the B&B and regular buses into city. The owners were very welcoming and helped when I unfortunately left my suitcase...
