Weekend away in Edinburgh and as a regular Sheraton customer and first time as a tourist in Edinburgh the hotel location, facilities and staff lived up to the expectations I have come to expect from the Sheraton Group.

This ranks as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are wonderful - so helpful and eager to please, nothing is too much trouble. They even park your car for you. Huge comfy beds, crisp white linen, fluffy bathrobes and...More
Great stay, can't fault anything about the hotel, delicious breakfast, spa was fantastic, room to a very good standard and a big size, good location to see the Edinburgh sights, highly recommended to everyone.
Rooms lovely, clean and modern. Reception staff friendly and efficient. A shame that some of the restaurant staff let the rest of them down. This criticism only applies to those in the dining room dressed in black ( and presumably in charge ) not the...More

Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theatres and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.

Hi there, You will love the room! If you can, get a castle view which is lovely especially at night. There is a hairdryer and ample amenities including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soaps. The shower is large as it the separate tub. There is also a fridge, tea, and coffee. We would go back there in a heart beat!
