Very good value. Extremely clean room, decent size. Breakfast good with decent choice. Easy to get to city centre by bus, or close to pubs and restaurants in Leith and Granton. Staff very friendly and helpful

Stayed for a 2 night city break and were very well looked after. The room (8) was spacious with a huge bed. Staff were very attentive and pleasant and ordered haggis in specially for breakfast for us. It is a little way from the city centre but only a 10 minute bus ride and 2 routes stop almost outside the... More

At first we were very impressed. It's easy to find (and there's a bus stop right outside, and the buses generally run every 10-15 minutes down to the city centre, which takes around 15 minutes). The room looked lovely, well decorated, high ceilings, pretty spacious (we were given a triple rather than a double, so we could use the spare bed... Spent 2 nights here last weekend and had a lovely stay. Staff very friendly and hotel just what you need for a base to explore the city from. We walked into the centre the first day we were there which took us about 35-40 minutes the second day we got the bus (£4 for day ticket bus stop right outside... More

This was an interesting hotel, its more of a B&B really and it feels quite cosy. The staff are friendly and I felt very welcome. There is free parking right outside and it was not difficult for me to find a space despite the staff saying it can sometimes be difficult. We had the basement room where the view was... More

Very nice hotel situated in lovely surroundings with the park close by. Lovely, friendly staff. Couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast was very good which was great considering we were a bit hungover from our night oot in Edinburgh!! Hotel was very clean and looked as if it had been refurbished recently. Would recommend this place to anyone needing a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights recently. Easy to find, good free parking right outside the hotel and lovely staff. I had requested a room with a bath and we weren't disappointed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and clean towels were left on the bed. The bedroom was big enough however due to the angles on the ceiling my husband... More

I was really impressed with this hotel. Scotland was the first destination of my 4 months travels and I've never travelled overseas by myself before, so I was a bit nervous. The staff were brilliant and understanding and helped with any questions I had about Edinburgh. On the first night, a pipe burst in the room above and so water... More
