We stayed for two nights en route to a conference. Margaret is a fantastic host and made a wonderful breakfast to order. She shared much information about the local area that enhanced our visit to Edinburgh. The room was lovely, with air conditioning, comfortable beds, and free Wi-Fi. There is a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 2 nights in May 2016. The B&B is located about 15 mins drive from the main city centre. The owner is very warm and welcoming. The rooms are exactly as shown in the picture. Absolutely squeaky clean with all the necessary amenities. We were also served some hot, freshly cooked and tasty Scottish breakfast. Overall, enjoyed...

We spent two wonderful nights in the white house, in the most scottish room imaginable. Margret prepares delicious breakfasts (we especially liked the great cereal selection and mushrooms) , helps with restaurant recommendations and tells amazing and hilarious stories - so each day started with lots of laughter! It's not in the city center but the bus station is right...

She saved us a lot of trouble by giving tips on how to get around and where to go. The breakfast was delicious and well worth the money. The...

Great little cafe in Craigmillar. Local produce, great quality and fantastic prices. In an Art Deco building on Nedrie Mains road. Really well cooked hot and cold snacks and meals. It's a community cafe run by the community. They also have exhibitions on a fairly regular basis. Nice clean cafe with friendly staff and good quality food and a nice...

We had a lovely stay in Margaret's B&B! The rooms are roomy, comfy and spotlessly clean. They even have heating blankets in the beds, so you will never get cold and have facilities to make your own coffee and tea. Margaret is a great host, she is full of information and nice stories and does a great job cooking every...
