We usually stay at the Hub Haymarket and now and again at this one. The advantage over the Hub Haymarket is that the Hub Rose Street is right in the center, perfect location for whatever you want. Great staff, all very helpful, we asked for extra pillows which were sent up straight away. A good room, plenty of towels and good water pressure in the shower. If you are looking for a great central location then look no further. We will be returning in February. Well done guys. Thank you.

Myself and my wife recently stayed here for 2 nights during a short city break. The location of this hotel is excellent. It is literally around the corner from train, bus and tram stops and is in easy walking distance of all the attractions this beautiful city has to offer. It is a spotlessly clean, comfortable and modern hotel with friendly welcoming staff. The rooms are very comfortable, are a good size and the en suite facilities are as you would expect. The hotel is very secure, requiring your swipe card to access elevators and corridors as well as your room. Wi-Fi is available and is surprisingly good. There is a cosy bar cum dining area just off the lobby, with complimentary tea and coffee available. We didn't use the dining facilities here, so I can't comment on that. In summary this hotel will meet you requirements whether your stay is long or short, for business or pleasure.

Me and my partner chose to stay here due to its lower price when we needed a cheap getaway and with my knowledge of the city from several prior visits, I knew this would likely be a great option because of its location on the same street as several restaurants, bars etc and being right around the corner from a stunning view of Edinburgh Castle and the public transport networks.
Even with my expectations set that high, I was blown away with how good of a location it was. It was easy to check in and the minor detail of being able to get a second key automatically from a kiosk when checking in so both me and my partner could have one was just such a nice touch. The room was cosy and whilst small it's exactly what we expected and honestly wanted as neither of us like to spend our whole holiday within the hotel anyway.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had any fears or concerns immediately washed away upon every interaction. The breakfast was very nice and, as expected, the location was the perfect place to be. Right in the heart of the city and with so many connections to get anywhere you wanted in under an hour.
If you'd like to explore the streets late into the night then the location is still perfect as Rose Street has so many different restaurants, bars, clubs, bowling alleys, museums etc only a short walk from the hotel, often not even needing to take any turns and as a pedestrian only zone it is very comforting and calming to walk down. Being able to step outside and only turn a corner to see the Castle was also brilliant and certainly lifts your mood every morning stepping outside.
Overall I would happily stay here again and I think this will be the first place I look at for any stay in Edinburgh whether it's only for a short stop or for a week long adventure away from home. Considering this was my first ever holiday I've organised entirely by myself, I was thrilled to have had such a nice experience and it is all due to this affordable, comfortable place to stay in one of the best locations.

Myself and my partner stayed at Hub by Premier Inn for one night whilst visiting Edinburgh and for a city escape it was ideal. For location, cleanliness and friendliness we couldn’t fault it. Everything was walkable from the hotel and we were just around the corner from Princes Street. The rooms, albeit small, are just what you need if you don’t plan to stay in the hotel for very long and are keen to be out and about exploring. They offer free teas and coffees downstairs in the bar to guests which is a nice touch. The rooms are modern and fresh and you are able to order breakfast, lunch and dinner downstairs in the Lounge. We chose this hotel due to its price, so if you’re looking for somewhere to stay on a budget this may just be the place for you!

Really good choice of hotel when visiting Edinburgh. We came for a city break and to see our son who is studying there.
We chose the “bigger” room which was compact and had a decent sized window.
Check in was a breeze, using the QR code sent via email though there was a member of staff on hand to help. You print your room key off from the machine.
You need your room key to go up in the lifts and access the corridors on the upper floors, which is a good security feature.
All the staff were lovely and friendly. The rooms were clean, the bed was super comfortable. The lights are controlled by the panel in the headboard, including the bathroom one. The showers are great.
We had the breakfasts which were simple but really good. There is a good vibe in the bar area. You can pick up free and coffee in the bar area (no kettle in the room).
The location of Rose Street is great, as it’s very near many attractions and it was 10 minutes walk from Waverley stations (it’s not recommend to arrive by car) and if we return we will look to book this hotel. Hotels in Edinburgh all seem to come with a cost premium .

Pros Central location, really quiet, great blackout blinds, accessible from station and airport easily, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower.
Cons Cost cutting! No staff, one pillow each, one towel each, have to request room to be made up via calling a number so noone bothers, no glasses, kettle, tea or coffee, the one receptionist (who doubles up in the restaurant) knows nothing about the local area, no mirror on the dressing table, no bedroom bin, glass door on the bathroom (no privacy plus a mirror from the bed looking in!), room controls need an instruction manual...either that or they're not working properly as certainly not intuitive, window but no access to fresh air as double window with no access to outdoors...means aircon needs to be on all the time and sometimes you get cooking smells, breakfast is all carbs and cheap drinks - don't bother

Very pleasantly surprised. The bigger room was more than ample and had everything you need - although agree that a safe would be good. Very comfortable bed and good shower. very quiet - heard no noise either from the street or other residents. Breakfast great value and loved free coffee. Staff very friendly and efficient.

We stayed here in early December in a large room. We had stayed in hub hotels before and like those stays, this was just great.
Room is small, but ok for 2 even with luggage. Bed is comfy, shower works great and you barely hear any noise from outside (we had a room facing Rose Street). We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, had couple of drinks in the very comfy bar and they were reasonably priced for hotel bar drinks.
Location is fantastic, short walk to Royal Mile (uphill naturally :)) and actually everywhere.
We loved Edinburgh and will definately visit again, and I see no reason why not stay in this hub again.

Very good hotel! The location is excellent, right on the divide between the old and "new" parts of the city. There are several restaurants on the street but it is still a quiet and peaceful street. Quick check-in; To check out, just deposit your card. The breakfast is a great price; It's the basics well done (few options but everything is delicious). I loved the fact that there was free water, coffee, cappuccino, etc. all day long. The restaurant overlooks the street and is super nice and comfortable to stay in. Super quiet room. The room is small (we took the smallest room) but it was very organized, as there is plenty of space to put our suitcases and store our things. Great shower and bed. There were only three issues that bothered me: 01) when I pulled the table completely out, it was dirty, there was a lack of cleaning in this place; 02) the air conditioning did not work with the appropriate buttons, we had to turn the air conditioning on and off directly, without being able to control the temperature; 03) the dryer had bad contact, it was possible to use it, but it was a little difficult. Anyway, I gave it top marks and would definitely stay again.

Pros : 1. The location is very near to all Edinburgh main attraction, across the road from Edinburgh Waverley Station and Scott monument, walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile. Lots of bus pass by the main street of this hotel. 2. Lots of food and restaurant around 3. The room are surprisingly spacious, the bed are big and have a luggage space, cobtrol the light and air conditioner/heater from panrl beside the bed 4. Very easy check in and out, from staff or kiosk. The check out process is within seconds. Cons : 1. Eventhough the room are spacious, but it can be more complete if they added a small kitchenset, refrigerator, coffee machine, because actually the space is more than enough 2. The heater sometimes get cold, luckily the bedding and blanket are very warm.

I don’t recall seeing anyplace for laundry in the area. But you should be able to get an Uber or bus to a laundromat easily. Public transportation is amazing!
There are more places to choose from in the Edinburgh area.
