Staying at the Botanics is like staying at the home of a good friend. I only wish more of my good friends had beauftiful houses in elegant and accessible parts of the finest cities of europe! Eleanor made us feel most welcome and we quickly discovered how convenient it was for exploring Edinburgh. Having left the car in the parking...

well i couldn't have got much closer to where i was working... opposite the botanical gardens and defiantly less than a minuet, it was such a luxury. But for those who are just stopping in Edinburgh this would offer a fantastic opportunity to wander these magnificent gardens, and really not go out of your way at all. This B&B is...

This is a lovely home and Eleanor was most welcoming to us on our visit to Edinburgh for a weekend. The house is beautifully decorated and our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable overlooking the gardens. Breakfast was extremely generous. The surrounding area is very pretty and the Botanical gardens are just across the road, which are a must...

We wanted a good night's rest not too far from Edinburgh's attractions - and we got more than that! A friendly welcome, good breakfasts on our own, a peaceful walk in the beautiful Botanic Garden on our way to the centre of Edinburgh. We clearly could feel Eleanor's hospitality all the time, shown in the clean rooms and generous breakfast...

I spent a long weekend in Edinburgh for sightseeing and relaxing. And I found the best place for doing so. Botanics is conveniently located in a quiet residential area North of the Botanic Garden. Heading to the city centre, you can either go by bus (5 minutes) or enjoy the walk along a small brook in a green area. The...

My husband and I stayed with Eleanor at her Botanics B&B for 3 nights while we were in between moving from our flat in Edinburgh back home to Canada. Eleanor's home was a great place to stay and looked identical to the photos on the website. The home was cozy and delightful and Eleanor truly opened her home and made...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Botanics Bed & Breakfast for 5 nights in March and had the most amazing time! It is a great place to stay with such amazing hospitality. I certainly found everything I was hoping for in a B&B!! The house is wonderfully located right next to the beautiful Botanic Garden and just a...

Botanics was welcoming and accommodating from the very first email. Actually arriving was even better. The home is spacious but cozy. The host makes sure that you not only have an access to tea and coffee making (yes there is a plunger for real coffee) but will probably make you one herself. Close to town for trips to city centre...

My family and I decided to spend 2 nights in Edinburgh, and chose Botanics since it was located in a lovely area, near to the city center. We could not have asked for more. Delightful rooms, lovely interior and very comfortable beds. The owner is very accommodating and helpful and supplied us my many information guides about Edinburgh on our...

Montreal, Canada I stayed at the Royal Botanics B&B in the middle of July and it was absolutely fantastic. I was traveling alone and I felt completely at ease in Eleanor's cozy home. It's clean, secure and nicely decorated! It's conveniently located near the city center (about 7mins by bus to the train station) and 5mins walk to the Royal...
