We stayed 5 nights at the Gil Dun guest house and have only good things to say about it. Our host Gerry was very helpful in all matters. The breakfast is very ample and very tasty 😃. Our room was small, to be expected in an old guest house but very comfortable. The one small issue is that a tall...

Great guesthouse with delicious breakfast and very nice and clean rooms/bathrooms! Close to public transportation, however, also very walkable to the city center. Gerry the host is a great host and makes you feel very welcome! I will be back in the future! Thank you!

Gerard was a wonderful, helpful, host who was able to answer all our questions with...

My wife and I stayed at the Gil Dun for a week. We really enjoyed the host who was very helpful and friendly. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Royal Mile or faster by car or bus but we liked to walk. There are decent restaurants within a 5-10 walk. The breakfast was also top-notch.
