A very warm welcome, even though we were an hour early for check in - left cases and went to centre of town. Room was great, spacious and airy and a very comfortable bed. A very good cooked breakfast set us up for the day. A super bus service to the city centre with a good choice of buses. We...

I don't give 5 start because the building is old and the room a bit noisy in the morning, but my experience has been 5*. I arrived late and they arranged late check in for me, everything was ok went I arrived. Breakfast was good, Buffett and a la carte, very smiley cook. Friendly staff

Stayed in room 25 which was shocking ! Probably the smallest room I've ever had The ensuite was ridiculous I'm not huge by measure, 6ft and under 17 stone, I could hardly fit in the shower and was lucky to get one bum cheek on the loo thanks to an overhanging basin The feel off the place wasn't right it...

Located perfectly between the city and the airport. The stadium is also very very near, as is the Zoo! Room was great, clean and tidy with everything you need and staff very helpful if you have any inquiries. Very reasonably priced I stayed in a room for 3 people - one double and one single bed. Breakfast was also good...

The hotel was adequate and was just what we needed as a base for a short tourist break in Edinburgh. The staff were a tad over worked but remained pleasant and helpful to guests. The place was a tad tired but comfortable and the breakfast, was lovely and they ensured it was to your liking!

The hotel is made from former 2 grand Victorian houses so the public areas and rooms have a lot of character yet are modernised enough to be comfortable. We made a mistake on Booking.com but the manager dealt with it very well and fairly which was greatly appreciated. Staff are very good and made our Hogmanay stay welcoming.

I had no part in booking this hotel, I'll say that from the get go.. I had no opportunity to research and had I have done so I wouldn't have chosen this place.. This is never a three star hotel in my books.. I'm not being deliberately off hand about the corstorphine lodge, the facts are that when you walk...
