Stayed the weekend for a function. Disappointed with service which could easily have been better if more staff was available. Breakfast was a bit of a nightmare.
Otherwise the hotel was very clean and rooms were comfortable.
Could do with more than 2 lifts.

To be honest, I've never actually stayed in this Hotel, but I work locally and they insist on using the Apex regularly for meetings. They seem to struggle to cater adequately for large numbers of people. A shortfall of sandwiches at lunchtimes, and trying to...More
We enjoyed our stay at the Apex and were impressed by the hotel generally and the quality of service. The only drawback was the noise of the traffic which is constantly swishing past. It really is very noisy. I would stay here again but the...More

My wife and I have stayed at the Apex Dundee many times and we have always found it to be very good. Little touches like remembering you are a returning guest matter. We received a handwritten card to welcome us back and two free drinks...More

Great check in and fantastic location. Room nice but very hot with no air-conditioning. Bar does great margarita, and staff are all excellent. Swimming pool area could do with an upgrade as all a bit tired. All the staff in the spa were lovely and...More

There's plenty on offer at the continental section. Saying that the full breakfast was one of the best we've had in any hotel. I had freshly prepared eggs Royale and then some other bits from the hot buffet which was all first class. Suppose it depends how hungry you are. If you want lighter but lots of choice the continental should be enough

I think continental £13 and full breakfast £15 per person. I stayed recently and thought the standard had reduced and the hot food was not very appealing and the buffet was quite limited and we got hard cold toast delivered. We went 5 mins walk next day to Butterfly Cafe on Commercial Street and we both had fresh toasted scones and coffee for £9 in total.
