My partner and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary so wanted to go somewhere we had never been. Dundee it was! We decided a nice cheap accomodation would duit as we would be out exploring so we chose this hotel. Upon arrival I was impressed by the friendly staff at reception and felt comforted by the retro decor. Nothing...

We have stayed here twice as the hotel is in an excellent location, easy walking distance to bus/rail stations, shopping centre, Caird Hall, Discovery Point etc. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is good, breakfast buffet plentiful. Hotel very clean and comfortable. We had street noise in our room but it did not cause us...

I stayed here for my friends wedding. The wedding was nice. There were many other functions happening here. The hotel is looking very old. The lifts are small and not practical. Here is my main review of this hotel: Plus points: • Good bar • Great location • Great view Negatives • Reception is small and busy • Lift is...

Lovely Hotel room with a stunning sea view, It was spotless, lovely and bright with lovely new bathroom. This hotel was in an ideal location close to all amenities. Staff were very friendly - especially the Breakfast room guy! Cannot fault it and would highly recommend it.

The river view is always worth requesting - the front of hotel has too much street noise. Breakfast is good - fruit juice, fruit salad (my favourite), bread for toast, patisserie,...

My husband and I stayed here just the one night as we had a wedding to go to. I have reviewed this hotel before and feel that it deserves another great one. We were booked in by a very friendly girl on reception and shown to our room straight away. We were on the 2nd floor and our room was...

Staff at this well-located city centre hotel were most helpful, in communicating before arrival and during my stay. The lady serving breakfast (including the Arbroath kippers) is speedily attentive to early arrivals. Sadly, therefore, this hotel's Internet access (whether in the reception area or as wifi in my room) is slow to the point of simply not functioning. And my...

It's quite difficult to put into words what I loved about the Queens - you really have to experience it. The whole place just oozes tradition and history. Its all a bit worn and creaky, but there is a palpable sense of homeliness, warmth and dependability that you simply won't find in a more modern establishment. The staff were all...
