Stayed at Craigtay Hotel for 4 nights for Hogmanay in Dec 2015 Jan 16 on arrival we were advised that we were in top part of hotel Rm 19 This room looked out onto a fairly busy road heading to Dundee City Centre and that there would be no Night porter on that night and that the bar would shut...

My room seemed really clean and comfortable. The only thing the maid forgot to empty was the trash can in the bathroom from the previous person that stayed there . The complementary breakfast was pretty good the complementary dinner was pretty lame just had sandwich meat and buns. But what do you want? most hotels don't have a complementary dinner.

Excellent Hotel for its price, the staff were very pleasant and friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. Will be stopping there again. The breakfast was very nice. Got a bedroom with a view of the River Tay, Very nice indeed.

This hotel is probably the worst I've stayed at. They got our booking wrong to start, then gave us a new room with two twin beds instead of one queen. The lobby and stairs were nice but the room was disgusting. Everything was old, worn and smelly. There was also mold all over the bathroom. We couldn't leave soon enough...

We went with the reviews on TripAdvisor, the photo's & price. None of which we found were accurate. We changed room three times because various things were seriously wrong with the each room. The rooms were unclean & smelly...like a wet cold cellar. The carpets very worn & ripped, with holes in floorboards showing through the carpet. The shower was...

This review is based upon the restaurant and not the hotel however there was no other way of reviewing the restaurant. We decided to visit as a friend had visited and said the food was nice. We also had a voucher and were visiting the dundee musuem of transport after lunch so it was ideally located for doing so. Firstly...

Visited here with my family for a birthday lunch. Beautiful restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. The menu was very good. Food is first class. Thoroughly enjoyed the home made steak pie fresh veg and potatoes and some fresh fries. Would certainly return.

Tiptoed around the room to advoid the load squeaky floor boards which covered most of the room and bathroom. Walls very thin and could hear the person in the next room snoring. In the industrial part of the city with views of the Tay bridge and oil rig. For what you pay you can't expect much more.

I am given to understand that the current management team have only had this hotel for the past year so perhaps this is unfair but hopefully they will get their finger out. we were put into room 6,given to understand it was one of their better rooms considering the negative comments we had read on here. the room was of...
