Arrived on a busy Wednesday night and staff were really helpful finding me a place to eat. Decent home made food and great pint of Speckled Hen on draught . Friendly local hotel with good reputation recommended by my guest house. I was working away on business and had driven over 5 hours that day and really appreciated the reception

Based on good reviews we decided to eat at the Kirkcudbright Bay Hotel we did there best to fit us in at short notice. We ate there on a family holiday, five of us 7y/o to 70y/o with really differing taste in food (apart from the 7y/o nugget muncher). Booking early gets you into the conservatory, which is very nice....

My Wife and i visited Kirkcudbright on a 3 day break staying at the lovely Kirkcudbright Bay Hotel. The hotel is absolutely spotless, the owners and staff superb, the locals were very friendly and welcoming and the food was incredible. We can't wait to go back to a gorgeous wee town you could fall in love with. Thank you so...

The welcome and friendliness of staff (and the local people using the hotel) was exceptional. We were shown to our room and staff offered to carry our luggage. The room was spacious and well equipped. We ate in the hotel both nights. The food was fantastic, the quality and portion sizes were great and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was...

Had a few evening meals in the restaurant whilst self catering in Kirkcudbright. Always warmly welcomed, a standard menu and a specials board, there are not many tables so booking is advisable, Free parking in the surrounding streets.

This is our 3rd visit to The Bay, and the last times were great, but I am afraid standards have really dropped. Room looking very tired, very clean, but tired. Beds very low to the floor, also not very comfortable. Breakfast was dry and baked up, I did complain about it but was told A new breakfast chef. This was...

We tend to eat at this establishment every time we visit Kircudbright, but we weren't too impressed on the last visit, on this visit to Kircudbright we decided to give them another try to see if they'd improved. The food was first class but the service tended to be very slow due to it being so busy, I think that...

We recently stayed here on a weekend whilst visiting family and on the whole it was a pleasant enough experience. The location is ideal if you want to be near to the centre of Kirkcudbright as all of the local amenities are close to hand with plenty of free parking available outside of the hotel. The room we stayed in...
