Just came back from a fantastic weekend today and had to write this review straight away x absolutely loved the anvil view .deluxe room was excellent very clean and tidy breakfast was lovely and you had a good choice. Brenda and Roy were fantastic hosts and there hospitality was 5 star couldn't of asked to stay in a better place...

Really helped me out as I was stuck for accommodation. They were fully booked but they managed to help out. Couldn't ask for nicer people. We stayed one night in one of the smaller rooms, clean and comfortable. Owners were very welcoming and could not have done more to help us. Breakfast was lovely, bed really comfortable and lovely bathroom - would not hesitate to recommend.

My partner & I have a wonderful two night stay at the Anvil View Guest House! I also had my best friend staying in another room as we got married across the road at the Old Blacksmiths Shop & Venue. The proprietors Roy & Brenda were just lovely, friendly and very very helpful..Roy gave us a lift in his car...

We booked into the guest house for our Pearl anniversary, and was blown away by how lovely it was. We had the deluxe room and was not disappointed. We stayed one night over the weekend and not entirely sure what to make of it, but erred on the positive. We turned up a little earlier than the stated time, but no one was about (although the door was unlocked) eventually the guy turned up 15 minutes after check-in time, but sat in his car for 5 minutes before...

Really nice place. hosts were friendly & couldn't do enough for us. We didn't go for the luxurious room just an ordinary homely one. Breakfast was delicious good produce & cooked to perfection. Hosts very attentive & asked if we needed any more etc! Would definitely recommend to friends & family.. would stay here again..

stayed here last year when we got married so we came back for our 1 st anniversary .Booked and paid for room months ago so when we were put in the honeymoon suite we thought it was a lovely thing for them to do as we only paid for double room as we had that room last year ,checked out...
