We had a fantastic long weekend here. Read some reviews where people were criticising the decor in some of the rooms. I didn't find this a problem at all - it's part of the atmosphere to the victorian surroundings. The rooms are currently being renovated but the character of the place is amazing. Immaculately clean, huge rooms, your bed's even...

I have returned today from Cally Palace, having stayed Friday and Saturday night. My husband, two Daughters and myself were with a group of 11, ages ranging from 4 - 73, I feel I have to write a review...where shall I start?... Okay positives first. It a very grand building with an imposing facade, vast and beautiful grounds, intriguing history...

We spent a long weekend at the hotel over the valentines day period. We enjoyed a large deluxe room, good and tasty food with friendly and helpful service from arrival to departure. Well worth a visit .

My first visit to this hotel and it won't be the last. A very well appointed hotel with welcoming helpful staff, good sized, comfortable bedrooms and superb food. They were just reopening for 'the season' so a few things on the leisure centre side were still outstanding but it did not detract at all from our overall enjoyment. If I...

This was a very enjoyable stay except for the Entertainment Act booked for Christmas. The family groups and those born after 1950's were fighting to enjoy but most went to bed early on Christmas Night. We stayed only to see if the Gay Gordon's and the military two steps might be replaced with something a little more lively. Not to...

Hotel and grounds are fabulous, our room was large with great bay window overlooking the grounds. The restaurant was excellent and at night deer come right up to the window whilst you are dining. Afternoon tea in the conservatory was very good. Surrounding area is lovely for going out and about, if you get tired of the fabulous grounds!

Arriving on a cold and rainy evening, the management welcomed us with cheer and goodwill. The room was large, elegant and tastefully furnished with a fine view of the gardens, and a spacious bathroom. The evening meal was excellent with a fine choice of plates and wines. Breakfast was generous and the spacious dining room added a touch of tranquility...

We went here for new year with a large family group (13 in total) on recommendation of my Grandparents who have been coming for a number of years. The whole trip was incredibly enjoyable and relaxing, the food was fantastic and there was always plenty to do, be it spend time on the golf course, swim in the pool, go...

Another thoroughly enjoyable trip to Cally Palace to see the New Year in. Excellent food, our favourite room and favourite duo to dance to. Why else would we return there year after year? Nowhere else seems to reach up to the same standard (and we have stayed at many, many hotels, both for NY and otherwise). The staff were exceptional,...

Beautiful venue, perfectly preserved and maintained. Real touch of class. Fantastic rooms, either in new wing or in the old part of hotel. 18 holes golf course attracts good clientèle. Tennis court available too. Swimming pool with jacuzzi, small gym and sauna available for hotel guests. For lunch good selection of sandwiches or wraps. Dinner menu very well prepared and...
