We have stayed at this hotel many times in the last 20 years and keep returning as it offers a little bit of peace and relaxation at a reasonable cost. We would always have given a 5/5 but we feel a 4/5 is fair at this time. On this occasion we booked the Spring Break which included reduced rates for...

My husband took me here for my birthday. We had a five course meal, which was delicious. It filled us up nicely without over indulgence. The restaurant was set out nicely with lovely clean white tablecloths. The service was very good and the staff were all very friendly and polite. It was such a lovely birthday surprise. It is such...

The hotel looks like a former stately home and is set in its own grounds remote from the main roads. The grand facade is matched inside with large classical rooms and decoration throughout. The peace and quiet was a joy. Food was excellent and the plentiful staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. I did not get the chance to play...

Although you can bring a dog your pet is not allowed in any public area except one table in the foyer. Also they don't want you to leave your dog in your room. So a nice little earner but a tad disingenuous. Dining room tired but staff were nice. Leisure centre brilliant

Very comfortable hotel Staff very friendly and efficient Good and plentiful food. Swimming pool great. Hotel is set in quiet parkland. When we were there the spring bulbs were starting to flower. We will revisit.

We have just spent a lovely few hours at this Hotel, on arrival at reception we were warmly welcomed by Joanne, we first went and used the facilities being the swimming pool, jacuzzi etc followed by afternoon tea, popular today with the tables that were set out and we weren't disappointed, the choice and quantity was very good and more...

The first sighting of the gateway to this property already gives you a clue to how grand Cally Palace is going to be. Then followed by a woodland driveway carrying you to spotting in the distance a superb mansion overlooking either the golf course. or woodland gardens. From reception to leaving this hotel, staff are both friendly and efficient. Most...

Stayed for 2 nights, had a very relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings. Staff made us feel very welcome and made it a very special holiday. (only exception was receptionist who didn't acknowledge us for approx 4-5 minutes on arrival while she chatted at the desk). All other staff more than made up for it by their wonderful attitude and willingness...

Such a beautiful building and location, sadly the only good parts about our visit. The afternoon tea was extremely underwhelming. The sandwiches were dry and the bread had turned stale, clearly they are pre-made and left out until needed. Most of the sweets were shop bought therefore another disappointment. For what we got the price was completely unjustifiable. Definitely would...

Dear TripAdvisor Member Thank you for admiring our beautiful hotel and grounds. We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your afternoon tea. We can guarantee that our sandwiches are freshly made each day between 11.00am and midday, then covered and refrigerated, so we are puzzled to hear that you thought they were stale, and can only wish that you...

Firstly I have to commend this hotel since our planned visit had to be deferred for a few months due to illness and we were not penalised. The porters are absolutely amazing in cheerfully transferring my 93 year old Mother from the car to her accessible room (we could park round the back). The hotel is situated in vast grounds...
