This was a sheer chance find on the internet - despite staying in Galashiels and often going to Peebles for the day , It was only through Google Maps ( planning my route to Barony Caste at Eddleston ) that I discovered this Hotel even existed ! I looked at the website and booked for a Sunday carvery - we...

This is absolutely, undeniably the most perfect wedding venue. On the 7th Nov 2015 we got married at Cringletie and I can say, with utter confidence and pride, that the day was perfect. This was in most part due to Cringletie - the unflappable and thoughtful leadership of Johanna, Jeremy the master of ceremonies with the golden tones and the...

My wife and I took advantage of an IITISON offer for an afternoon tea for two. Food was good and staff were good. The only thing was the lounge we were in was a bit chilly and on a cold November day I thought there might have been an open fire. That said we would happily use Cringletie again....we used...

Had such a wonderful time on our stay with Cringletie House Hotel and the memories will be with us for the rest of our lives! Thoroughly spoiled from the moment we arrived and a food extravaganza with wine pairings that was an education in which I would have been happy to do more revision! Wonderful menu with wonderful wines. Highly...

This place is fairly local for us. Last time we came for lunch and had an amazing 3 course lunch which was on offer. It has lovely grounds, beautiful views and is a really lovely building. Food was excellent, very relaxed and chilled out. We have been here for dinner and the food was very good but it is very...

Went here recently for lunch and also stayed the night on a DBB deal. We were upgraded to a suite which was large well appointed and clean. Couldn't fault the room in any way. The Hotel was set in large grounds and must be lovely in the summer. Lunch was very nice and plentiful with a nice variety in the...

Decided to take a few days out of a busy schedule and chill out at Cringletie. Once again we had a fantastic experience thanks to the staff who had changed significantly since our last visit but who were every bit as good as their predecessors. Friendly, competent, efficient - all words that fail to truly capture the atmosphere of this...

We went for Sunday lunch for our first time visit. We will definitely be back. We had a voucher on this occasion for the meal, but nevertheless we were well impressed. The setting for the hotel is stunning and we were watching pheasants roaming around the grounds while eating. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. My wife has an allergy...
