We visited Glentress for mountain biking again, and once again stayed at Craiguart. It was like being at home again, we were made to feel very welcome, Alastair and Pauline are fantastic, the room was to the same high standard, clean, spacious and a fantastic refreshing shower after a long day in the saddle!! The choice for breakfast is varied,...

Stayed at Craiguart House for two nights for a cycling trip. Visit the areas a number of times but normally stay with a friend or opt for travelodges further away but I'm glad I followed recommendations and stayed here. Perfectly located for Glentress, you can ride to the trails instead of paying for parking, its also very close to Peebles...

Stayed 4 nights with Alistair & Pauline in their lovely guest house, whilst mountain biking the local trail centres of Glentress and Innerleithen. Located between Peebles and the trail head of Glentress it is ideally suited for our needs, as with bike wash and secure storage for our bikes is a real bonus. Our room was very clean and comfortable...

Three of us stayed at the Craiguart on the 18th and 19th of November to ride both Glentress and the Golfie over at Innerleithan. The hosts were very welcoming upon arrival. The room was modern, very clean and warm with excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast covered something for everyone, personally I tool full advantage of the delicious 'full scottish'. Secure storage...

May I start by asking you, what is high on your list when booking a B&B anywhere for that matter, location, price, room logistics, cleanliness, breakfast etc. well let me inform you that craiguart b&b which nestles in the tweed valley some 24 miles due south of Edinburgh is a real gem which ticks all those requirements and more. A group of us have stayed at Craiguart every time we have visited Glentress in last 5 years. Everything you need and could wish for from a B&B. Nice showers and hearty breakfast give this place an MTB top rating

Well it's like home from home which is a pretty incredible accolade, Pauline and alisdair are fantastic friendly and obliging. We came mountain biking as a family, and were made to feel welcome from the first minute, and the bike storage and cleaning facilities are fantastic, not stuck in an old shed, but pride of place in a purpose garage,...

My boyfriend and I have just left this wonderful bnb on the outskirts of peebles. We stayed with another couple after all having been mountain biking in Glentress so arrived tired and slightly muddy. We couldn't have been made more welcome by Alistair and Pauline. We stayed in room 3 which was huge, and our friends had room 2 which...

We booked last minute and were really happy with the friendly way the host (Alastair on the phone) helped and didnt make us feel like an inconvenience. After a day biking at Glentress we found the B&B (clearly marked by a brown sign on the road from glentress to peebles). Warm welcome from Pauline, who showed us to our AMAZING...
