Visited Kingsknowes Hotel last night and enjoyed the meal. The bar area has been refurbished and is beautiful, now very light and welcoming.However when I received bill had been charged £26 for a bottle of Prosecco!!! Come on this is way excessive.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you.
The rooms are elegant and comfortable. The grounds and gardens are wonderful.
The breakfast is plentiful and cooked to perfection.
Booked a room for a one night stay following my retirement meal at lunch time. The room was of an excellent standard and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The room also had a beautiful view of the Eildon Hills
Booked for a friend's meal for 7 did not get our meal until after 8. The food was ok. Cleared our plates then we were left sitting. Came across at 9 to see if we wanted dessert by that time I was passed it! Waiter...More
I am not sure if the Hotel has any rooms downstairs.All the rooms our group had were on first and second floors. Contacting the Hotel will clarify. It is a very good hotel and the owner and staff are very helpful.
