Stayed here last week and then again last, what a gem, really quaint and the gent who owns it is so nice and helpful. Cont Breakfast or you can pay extra for a full English, but there is loads of choice. Enjoyed it so much I am thinking of taking the family up there.

Stayed here for one night as we were attending an event nearby. As several people have said this is a quirky guest house but is full of character. Staff and owner very friendly. We would certainly stay here again.

Where to start! On arriving at the guest house, it was not clear how to actually get into the grounds. No signage to tell you to turn up a side road to get in. We arrived at around two-ish, having contacted the owner the previous day to ask if it would be okay to arrive earlier than the 4pm check...

Charming little place- comfortable enough. A little challenging to find, so I would suggest contacting the Guest House for specific directions. Overall I would just say it was about average for the Guest Houses I am familiar with.

As the week drew on, and on, I was nonchalant about my final stop over, however I was roused by the site a great looking building with the warmest glow I have seen in a b&b all year. Resplendent in it's myriad of twinkling lights this large country style villa was crammed with charming artifices and stylish accoutrements. I'm using...

Firstly upon arrival the staff couldn't have cared less we were paying guests. The owners who greeted us were rude and overall did not give us the welcome one would expect. We were made to feel like a burden rather than paying guests. We weren't shown to our room we were told were to go and we ended up almost...

My daughter and I stayed here for 11 nights... We had the room next to the dinning roman I was great, with all the comforts we needed. The girls serving breakfast were great- friendly and helpful. Yes while a cooked breakfast was extra the fresh fruit, home made bread and coffee was totally delicious! One of the showers needed some...

This place is like Marmite depending on your personal taste I suspect. I found it to be cluttered, stifling and slightly grubby. It made me think of a slightly spooky great aunties house and is definitely not the kind of place that uses mattress protectors. Some people may find it quirky and charming - there is lots to look at...

The first shock was when we phoned to find out what time to check in, only to be told 4.00pm because the owner was out! The second was the board stating Breakfast is Continental and a cooked breakfast is an extra £8.00 (each) if we had known, this alone, would have stopped us booking in the first place. The double...

What a lovely stay we had. Our room was very clean and had everything you could need. Beds super comfortable too. Loved having fresh flowers in the room. A proper continental breakfast included with hi quality ingredients and very fresh. Cooked breakfast extra but worth it as delicious. The decor around the common areas is quirky but interesting. Everywhere is...
