We were going to ride from Carlisle to Edinburgh in one day, but decided to cut the trip in half at the last minute. We managed to get a room here - owners were very friendly, room was comfortable, very good value - highly recommended

Although the area it is in is not noisy. The Monorene has its own private parking area & the rooms are very clean. Malcolm & Joan make their guests very...

There was off road parking at the back, and we could not fault the breakfast in any way. If we were ever...

My family and I stayed for a 1 night on the way to glasgow. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the owners and the fact they couldnt do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. We were expecting to pay for overnight parking but that wasnt the case as it was included in the very valuable price. Breakfast...
