The location was perfect - short walk into town with great views of the bay. The staff was courteous, but not overly friendly or helpful and the room we had was tiny with an uncomfortable bed and a miniscule shower. On the positive side, the breakfast was first rate and the other guests were very friendly.

Late check in time and limited on-site parking are the only drawbacks to this lovely guest house. There is however free on street parking out the front. Rooms comfortable and well presented. Breakfasts are good - especially the haggis and kippers. Owner and staff friendly. GREAT views over the water and an easy walk into town. Wifi can be slow...

We spent last night at Corriemar Guest House. We had a beautiful deluxe room with view of the harbor and island and hills across the bay. The staff were warm, welcoming, and the accommodation, first rate. The bed was a bit squeaky, but we quickly fell asleep and enjoyed a good night's rest. Breakfast was bountiful and they were able...

To be asked to book breakfast and soon as we arrived, was this necessary? The fish which arrived for breakfast was totally indigestible and the bacon wasn't much better. The lounge was full of artefacts which looked as though they needed a good clean and as for the decor.........!!!!!! There seemed to be a total lack of interest in the...

The location was wonderful, walkable to everything. And theroom was clean but tiny. There were several oddities, if corrected would make this quite a nice place to stay. The parking is a nightmare of cars on cars and you have tro leave your keys with the landlady. ( we street parked without difficulty). The breakfast system was silly and confusing,...

Great location wasted. Very dated and in need of refurbishment. Room décor 1950's, bedding didn't match. Room small for a double, in fact the wardrobe was a child's one, and access to shower very tight. Resident's lounge locked at 9pm. We had alerted the proprietor on booking the previous week that we would require an early breakfast as we had...

Quite possibly the worst B&B I've ever been in! Our arrival was met by landlady who was rather unfriendly, after asking for payment we were told to mark down what we wanted for breakfast the next morning! The room was a good size but far too many chairs (at least 4!) Tv was tiny in proportion to the room! Breakfast...

Where to start with the Corrimar! On first impressions I would have given it a big fat 0 out of 10. I would accept that we were not in the best room for our needs. A double or twin wasn't available so we were in a room full of beds! 3 in fact and the rest of the space was...

Great accomodation! It's about a 10 minute walk from the center but that's a good thing because while you're walking you get the chance to contemplate the town and the ocean. This guest house was 5* - really clean, cozy, good breakfast, great wi-fi, very peaceful, gorgeous view, amazing lounge, very nice owner and employees. I would totally stay there...

Nothing special, and if you are anything but slim, getting in and out of the shower would be a problem, very small bathroom. But, clean and a good breakfast. Also good view of Oban harbour. Out of choice would not come back, but if you can't find anything else, it is OK.

Thank anna c
