Been to many B&Bs over the years ....this is by far the worst one. Cheap and nasty . Can't even say you get what you pay because we stayed in one the night before in Perth costing the exact amount . It was a million times better . This one was dirty we slept on top of bed with our...

Booked this place via a last minute deal. Knew as soon as we arrived that it was a mistake. After 8 weeks travelling UK & Ireland, this was absolutely the worst accommodation we have had. I will say that everything was clean, but the sheets & towels were old, mattress saggy, bed squeaked loudly with every movement. There was no...

My partner & I stayed stayed one night at this B&B. At first glance the Alderlea seems like ok value for money. Close to town, clean/neat, tiny ensuite but an ensuite none the less (& once again clean). However once it was time to call it a night & jump into bed, that's when the problems really started to arise....

Clean, handy located, friendly staff, but too pricy and breakfast was not available. Also you can hear everything that's happening outside the door. Wouldn't go there if anything else was available...

The room was very nice, the bed confortable and the classic Scottish breakfast very tasty. If you are travelling by car you have the advantage that just next to the BB it is a huge parking place. The shared bathroom is very clean!

As you arrived you feel like you are disturbing the manager she didn't even say hello! The beds are old and very uncomfortable, every time you are moving it making noise. The bad sheets didn't look spotless, the matters cover is discussing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there...I don't even know how they can still be open.

we stayed in a room that was small but manageable-the shower was small and a different shower head would be better. we paid £50 which was appropriate. Breakfast was served on cold plates-warming the plates is easy enough to do......the beans were close to cold...the menu was typed on a piece of paper inside of a plastic slip folded up...

First visit to Oban and it didn't disappoint. Was there for the new year festivities. Nice spacious en-suit room. Great location short walk to the town friendly welcoming staff and stay was topped off with a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend this b & b.

We stayed in a family room – double bed & 2 singles – on the top floor. Getting our suitcases up the stairs was an effort, but the room was very spacious. You are on the top level, so you do have to careful with the cascading ceiling heights – which I seemed to bump my head on a few...
