We booked to stay here on our tour of West Scotland. William was a delightful and charming host although sadly we did not meet Linda. Our room was spacious and clean with a compact and clean ensuite shower room. This B&B is centally located and getting around Oban on foot was no problem. We did need to build up some... More

William greeted us warmly and was extremely helpful regarding our accommodations as well as our travel plans while in the area. He asked: "Shall I be frying an egg for either of you in the morning?" I did not know immediately what he meant, but affirmed that I would indeed enjoy a full Scottish breakfast in the morning, at which... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night and it was wonderful. The views are spectacular, the room was bright, clean and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. William was the perfect host, greeting us warmly when we arrived and there to answer any questions we had. We'd highly recommend staying here any time!

We had a wonderful stay at the Dunheanish Guest house! We only had two nights, but the place was so memorable and delightful! The room was huge with an unbelievably beautiful view of the harbor. It made it hard to leave for the day! The B&B was walking distance to anything you needed, which was so very nice, and William... More

This Bed and breakfast is up the hill overlooking Oban, still a short walk down to the harbor. A glorious view. William is an excellent host, very helpful with a wry sense of humor. Breakfast was excellent. And our room was the best in Scotland.

William welcomed us with warmth and helpful tips for our one night stay in Oban, incuding the Coast restaurant for dinner. He and his partner Linda provided a delicious Scottish breakfast. And the views of the sea from the breakfast room were delightful. Our room was on the ground floor but not noisy at all. The only challenge might be... More

I had a single room which was pretty spacious, had a TV and tea making facilities, a lovely bathroom which was clean and new looking. The view was spectacular - I could see up to McCaigs Tower which is floodlit at night, and down to part of Oban Harbour. The breakfast had a wide range of options from continental to... More

William & Linda have an excellent guest house, and are so very helpful in all ways! Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The cook-to-order breakfast was perfect, and William shared great recommendations for dinner spots and things to do in the Oban area. We couldn't be more pleased, and will recommend Dunheanish to travel-minded friends. If ever... More

We just were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful property for 2 night. I wished we could have stayed longer. Our ground floor room came with a four poster bed and a lovely view across Oban Bay to the islands. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and William is a wonderful host. As for having to walk up and down... More
