We booked an overnight for a group of eight and every single person was blown away! Outstanding staff, food, organisation and atmosphere. Well done team- we're already looking forward to next year 😊. We enjoyed great music and reasonable prices. Rooms so beautifully decorated!

We were happy with the reception and check in. On arrival warned of the refurbishment going on and the possibility of noise between 8 and 8. Therefore given a voucher for a discount on future stay. Despite our room being near the work, we weren't disturbed. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. We dined in the restaurant and...

We stopped for hot cocoa and stayed for a wonderful lunch - I had the best fish and chips of the entire trip - fresh haddock, local fish, with the best tartar sauce my daughter had ever had. Accompanied by fresh peas, it almost seemed healthy. My daughter also loved the vinaigrette on the little salad. She had a taste...

Really disappointing stay. Booked on line which didn't warn that there might be private function on. On booking in, asked about a table for dinner - no chance, private function and would have to eat in the bar. Ate elsewhere as a result, didn't want a "bar meal". Room was clean-ish but very small and dated, shower room was even...

We popped in for an evening meal as we liked to try somewhere different every night whilst we were staying in the area. I have to say that this was a very delicious meal with very attentive staff. I would definitely go back if ever I was back in the area.

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the local area. An aged hotel, which initially see nice given the beautiful area, however the rooms need some work. The shower (over bath) was most frustrating as it only seemed capable of scolding hot or freezing cold with absolutely no middle ground. Breakfast was very average, and we found that you had...

Had previously avoided this hotel in its former incarnation as the Argyll Hotel and was a little reluctant.to stay when booked by work. Pleasantly, prooved wrong from the outset. The bright and welcoming foyer and reception hints at the attention that has been paid to all public areas. Bedrooms have also been given a facelift and are warm and comfortable....

Stayed here on a groupon deal and was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The rooms were very clean, had a great view of the bay and were obviously recently refurbished. I was told that the previous owners had let the hotel go downhill in recent years and had therefore lost most of its local custom. The new management are...

A comfortable friendly hotel well situated for visiting Inveraray and the surrounding area. We stayed 3 nights for my wifes birthday and we couldn't really fault the place. The room was good and everything worked as it should. We ate 2 nights in the Lounge bar and we really enjoyed the food and service. The introduction of some real ales...
