Fishermans Cottage is in a fantastic location right on the coast, 3 mile drive out of Cambletown. It has a private drive through own gate with wildlife on the doorstep (sea birds, seals and otter). Walks start from the door or within an easy driving distance with some single track roads but all have good passing places signposted. Beaches and...

A great location let down by a cottage which has not been maintained. On the plus side the owner agreed to offer a full refund, but our weeks holiday was still ruined. My wife and baby developed breathing difficulties as a result of the mould in the bedroom. It was on the wall, the carpet and under the carpet. Bowl...

The location and views are fantastic but the state of the cottage can only be described as filthy.I had to clean the oven before I could use it and there were cobwebs everywhere. The toilet had a bowl underneath because of a leak which was there when we visited last year!!!The television could only pick up 2 channels and this was...

We stayed the week of 3rd May. This cottage is just fabulous set in the most stunning location. Lovely spacious bedroom with windows in all directions...we were constantly gazing out onto the shoreline. We enjoyed the garden room as the views were mesmerizing. Unique and very special place to stay.

Stayed at New Orleans for a week 17th-24th May. Didn't want to leave! The Cottage has everything you could need, just take your own towels. We wanted a holiday away from it all to recharge our batteries, peace & tranquility, this place has it in spades!Though the weather was mixed , it didn't matter, just sat in the sun room...

My wife and I have just spent a very cosy week in Fisherman's Cottage. The location, right on the shore is fantastic being in total privacy with access to it through two farm gates and a field of sheep, though there is a good road. The cottage was warm and clean with two storage heaters and a 'Morso Squirrel' multi...

We stayed in Archie's Farmhouse for 2 weeks in July/August 2013 and loved it. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-equipped for a family of four eating in every night. 2 big bedrooms and 2 big bathrooms - our 3-year-old slept in the second bedroom and our 17-month-old slept in a travel cot (provided) in the downstairs bathroom and was...

I stayed at the Lookout in October 2013, the weather was quite mild for the time of year. The Lookout stands slightly above the lighthouse and its cottages. The accommodation is cosy, charming and functional. The views from the property are stunning. A great addition is the upstairs viewing room complete with sofa and monoscope, for watching gannets dive for...

We stayed in this cottage for a week in August 2013. The setting of the cottage is absolutely stunning, beautiful views, peaceful and quiet, lots of wildlife. The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped. Sitting outside in the evening having a barbecue was the perfect way to relax after daytime walks and trips. This is an ideal place for...

“My only tip is to remind future guests that this cottage is most definitely on a working farm....Archie's farmhouse is next to the sheep-dog kennels (they bark in the night!!) so if you're a very light sleeper maybe choose an alternative cottage?!”
