The only place in Montrose I would stay consider staying the night/ nights after all these years. Everything is welcoming, rooms spotless. Breakfast amazing. Would cancel my trip if I could not get in here.

We booked this Guest House as it was central for both the train station and the East Links for the concert we were attending. The owners were superb hosts. Lovely spacious room on the top floor, lovely lounge to relax in too. Breakfasts were perfect, plenty food. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing stay at one of our favourite stop overs, when in town. Warm welcome, great brekky, and a comfy nights sleep to get you ready for the day ahead. Great facilities, cracking lounge area, and that lovely garden to while away your thoughts in between excursions.... Thank you The Limes, see you soon. :0)

After 5 times staying at the Limes over the years it is still first class. The rooms are spotless, linen and towels top quality. The breakfasts are outstanding as always. Nothing is to much trouble, just ask !!! Thank you again Marlene and good luck with your future.

We had a very friendly welcome from Mrs Scott, and a comfortable traditionally furnished room with a smart bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities and a fridge. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of cereals and cooked options. The only slight disappointment was that the porridge and kippers were not traditional Scottish, but we understood that this wouldn't be... More

Stayed one night as we had family buisness to attend to. Right from the first minute you felt at home, accommodation excellent plus a homely large lounge and excellent dining room and the breakfasts was something to die for. If we find ourselves in that part of the country again that is where we would stay. Beautiful place to stay.

Just arrived back home from my 4 day stay, I loved it and will be going back. Beds are comfy, tea/coffee, kettle and even a little fridge. I really enjoyed it, I didn't see much of people due to work commitments but when I did speak every one was nice and pleasant. Would def go and stay there....

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and anyone looking for a very comfortable quiet stay need look no further than The Limes. The owner, and staff could not have been nicer and more welcoming from the moment we arrived until the time we left. Breakfast has to be ordered the day before, but this is no bad... More

I stayed there for just over 2 weeks and it was everything that I needed. The couple that own Limes Guesthouse are really nice genuine people. It was a place that felt like my home during the time that I stayed there. If I ever return to Montrose then the Limes would be my first choice for accommodation.
