I was taken here by my family for a birthday meal based on a friends recommendation. What a disappointment. It's a pleasant enough venue with friendly staff although not much ambiance and the food was really average but priced as quality. Starter was uninspiring and pre prepared, main course of a burger looked great but when I got it, it...

Only 4 rooms but a very decent standard - comparable to any 3-star business hotel or better. Nice restaurant with a decent menu including some original choices. Breakfast cooked to order was all you would expect. Very happy to stay again and recommend to others.

How bizarre is this. After travelling from Aberdeen and checking into the hotel, I was enjoying a bath and I heard a knock at the door. I then got out of the bath and got dressed, to find the lady who had checked me in. She indicated that a mistake had been made, and asked me if I could gather...

I've stayed here twice and can highly recommend it. It's a small place, only four rooms, but that adds to the charm. An old bubuilding, there's character galore in the well appointed and spotlessly clean rooms. I've stayed in rooms both in the front and the back, I personally prefer the quietness of the back, and the WiFi was better. The...

We were at restaurant for evening meal last Saturday and had excellent meal. Dining room was busy but service was very efficient and no delays experienced. We were with another couple and had a sharing starter starter plus a couple of garlic breads and found the portions to be very generous. Two of us had the chicken tikka on the...

My daughter and I stayed overnight in the twin room recently. Prior to our arrival the owners were very good at responding to my (numerous) emails, and staff taking telephone calls were charming and helpful. First impressions were good - neatly tended gardens, some garden benches and a large parasol. Inside it wasn't immediately clear where to go ... the...
