Booked a table but arrived early which was not a problem as we were quickly seen to and seated . Great choices on the menu plus many more on the specials board. The food which we didn't have long to wait for was plentiful and very tasty . Attentive service and with a smile . Two courses each with a...

We were visiting our daughter and her husband in Aberdeen and had taken a trip to visit Peterhead prison and New Slains Castle. We were looking for something hot after our exertions. We came across this venue by chance and were mighty glad we did. We managed to find several choices for our group, 3 veggies and a vegan. The...

Took our wheelchair bound relative here for lunch...gentleman could have been more helpfull. Showing us wheelchair access and looking after us whither a smile. The food was most excellent ..from the fresh garlic mushrooms to the light battered and fluffy haddock .. Very homely and reasonably priced ...would recommend it .

While I cannot say that the hotel is perfect, as it is a bit in need of updating, I will say with emphasis that it is perfect for a bunch of golfers. The small hotel with bar and dining onsite is the best type of accomodation for us. Perfect for a group of 8-10. The owners, long time, also operate...

Spent two nights here on a nostalgic visit to an area I worked in 50 years ago. Very large and comfortable room with an outstanding view over the golf course to the sea. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfasts and dinners were very good albeit rather substantial portions. Hotel seems to be used more for its restaurant than accommodation trade...

Used to eat at the St Olaf very regular and we're always neglected by unattentive staff and waited long periods of time for drinks and food to be served. Such a shame as food is delicious when you eventually get it.

Husband and I had dinner at the St Olaf, our favourite place to eat. Food is consistenly good and plentiful at the St Olaf. We have never had a disappointing meal here. Good, friendly service, good food and plenty of it and value for money. Can't ask for more than that!

Poor welcome - felt unwanted. Reflected in whole service Had scampi snack box - scampi tasted like it came out a packet despite being in a lovely fishing community. Dessert - warm chocolate brownies - were not warm in the slightest. But were rich and tasty. Orange juice had with meal - served in a tiny wine glass - one...

The meals of steak pie or in this case stew with puff pastry on top Yes it was very nice , but I would like to see traditional steak pie I'm sure chef could rustle the...

We live in Cruden Bay and have a choice of where to eat but I would much rather go here than anywhere else. Great value and only go if you are hungry as they like to feed you. Then there is the puddings WOW WOW!!!
