Just enjoyed a very pleasant night stay at the Chester hotel while on Business in Aberdeen and from reading some of the great reviews I must agree this hotel is an excellent example of customer care and hospitality.

Very nice surroundings in the bar area, (not so keen on the booths but great for couples) great service and the food was very good Cullen skink risotto was brilliant, nice relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff a little on the expensive side but ideal for special occasions or just treat yourself to nice food and surroundings

My husband and I spent 2 nights in Scotland in a Club Room at the Chester. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean as well as the bathroom. Breakfast had a nice selection to pick from. The staff were all very pleasant. I found it quite disturbing that the bartender would keep on serving someone so intoxicated that they were... More

We had 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is in a good location just out of the city centre, the rooms are large and all amenities are available. The bathroom is large and came complete with a large shower space and a full size bath. The bed was king size and very comfortable. We were on a lower floor... More

Stayed for 3 nights in the Rothsay suite and wasn't disappointed it has a seperate living room and bedroom. We had a meal in the restaurant on the first night which was lovely and drinks in the bar are fab as there is plenty of choice. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. We ordered room service a number of... More

This is a lovely quaint but disjointed little hotel with teensy tiny rooms and the restaurant and other facilities in separate buildings. Thankfully as I had read some reviews prior to booking, I booked a suite which had one bedroom and a separated living room. While the suite was nice, it did not have air conditioning and it was a... I have stayed at the Chester a number of times both with my husband and when I am travelling solo. The rooms are spotless, beds comfortable and the food is always amazing! I must mention that the staff are incredibly courteous and nothing is ever too much for them. On my last trip I accidentally left my engagement and wedding... More

We had a terrible stay in this hotel. The hotel itself is disjointed, in the pouring rain a bit of a pain as you can be in and out! The room was awful in so many ways, with inlays and bad lighting but mainly because of the blood stain on our duvet, cups being dirty and cracked and the tea/coffee... More
