we arrived in the Hotel after a previous bad accommodation experience, thus we surely expected something better. However, both service and check in were good but. Just the latter is late (from 14:00). The building is obviously really old but architecturally interesting. Indeed, the room was huge with ancient furniture and mainly it was clean. The television was too far... More

Despite a lifetime in Aberdeen this was my first visit to the Station Hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a very smart modern looking reception / Lounge / Restaurant. Agree with previous positive statements about high tea. Fairly extensive menu and all our party enjoyed their choices. Wholesome and large portions delivered with style by friendly table staff.... Room was very dark - no overhead light and dull side lights. Was staying for work and had to read material with torch from phone. Room was at front of hotel which was very noisy. Bed uncomfortable. No hairdryer in room and spent half an hour trying to phone reception for one in the morning with no success. Definitely wouldn't... More

The location is great, the staff friendly and helpful. The room that I had did not have any central light, instead wall lights above the bed and opposite wall. Given the room was very large, the room was very very dark, to the point I dropped my keys on floor and had to use my phone torch to find them.... More

The room seemed did recently decorated but there were large dark marks on the wall (mould?). Service was friendly but slow and a little forgetful. For the price on booking.com it was good value though.

The location is great. It's central for everything in the city. The check in staff were very friendly and process was very easy. The bed was comfortable enough. However; The room had no heating at all despite there being a large radiator in there which st close to the end of October in Aberdeen is not much fun at all.... More

Attended for a second time for High Tea, and was just amazing again. Not only is the food excellent quality but the service and value is exceptional as well. You arrive and get a round of toast, followed by a main meal (from a choice of about 10 main course), only wee criticism is there could be more choice for... More

Heard heard good things about high tea and was not disappointed . The outside of the building us not great but was very surprised at the light airy , fairly grand reception area. The restaurant is also well decorated and comfortable. Plenty attentive staff to take the order, lots of choice on the menu which included toast, main course, home... More
