Comfortable hotel close to the main street of Union Street. The bed was comfortable, there was also a fantastic walk in power shower. There were complimentary toiletries and a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. My only gripe is that the street has 3 bars/clubs. I was at the front of the hotel... More

Hotel is very central to both bus and rail stations. Quirky design small independent run hotel. Nice rooms great showet. Bar area very pleasant. Nice breakfast which is cooked to order which makes a nice change from usual chain hotels.

Centrally located hotel and very close to large car park. Rooms are modern clean and well decorated. Breakfast was great and the staff are very attentive. Bar area is informal and relaxed. They now have a pizza restaurant at night. We didn't try as had dinner booked elsewhere but it looked good. I have stayed on several occasions and will... More

Booked for our anniversary weekend after reading good reviews and comparing several hotels nearby (which looked rubbish in comparison). On arrival the hotel looks very modern, contemporary and artistic inside. Good customer service and information about hotel and useful sheet with guide and map of local food and restaurants also handy room service available. Lift with access to all floors... More

My mum and I stayed at this hotel for two nights, in an executive room with my 3 year old nephew. The hotel is centrally located, only a short walk from Union Street so it is close to all the shops and restaurants Aberdeen has to offer. We were in a superior room on the forth floor, which was really... More

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Bauhaus hotel in Aberdeen. We got this for a great price including breakfast from booking.com and it was perfect for a one night stay. The hotel was clean, welcoming and interesting. As for the rooms they were nice and good enough for a 1-2 nights stay however I thought they... More

I primarily chose Bauhaus Hotel on the basis of its location just off Aberdeen's main street and the included breakfast, and although both hit the mark I must admit I was more impressed by the quality of the room, which appeared to have been recently updated. I expected a reasonable room, but it exceeded my expectations by being more than... More

Perfect location for nightlife or shopping in Aberdeen. Clean, comfortable big modern room with modern bathroom and walk in shower. Choice of fancy coffee in the room or good old fashioned kettle. Plenty at breakfast time although no haggis or black pudding but you won't starve. Friendliest people in the building were the two breakfast chefs.

Stayed here before and returned again. Nice little hotel friendly staff and good comfortable room. Breakfast was really good as well. In the centre of town and close to the station. I would stay here again the next time I'm in Aberdeen. The only small niggle for me is parking it is limited in the street. However there is council... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in the heart of Aberdeen city centre, our contemporary, iconic granite building opened its doors in November 2009. Located very close to Union Street, the hotel provides easy access to the city's shops, nightlife and sights. We recognise that style and flair for design need not break the bank. Our yummy cocktails, fabulous linen, flat screen TVs, free WiFi, luxurious Aveda bathroom products, all help to redefine the urban hotel experience in Aberdeen. It is the first high quality, no fuss, value-for-money boutique hotel in town. ... more   less
