We booked ahead for a party of 3. Great location with sea-view tables. Lovely varied menu choice to meet everyone's needs. We all enjoyed our meal. Nothing unusal or inspiring but good tasty satisfying food and nicely friendly and attentive service.

My partner and I went here for dinner on Saturday evening. I ordered the steak pie and my partner ordered "chef's special burger, lamb and black pudding". When the burger arrived, we were both surprised to see it had no garnish or sauce... It was literally just the bun and the patty. We were curious whether it was simply forgotten,...

My father had his 80th birthday party here the food and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel . We had private dining in the downstairs area. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Starters:- I opted for Cullen Skink, very nice, full of flavour and plenty of fish. My wife had spicy chicken wings, plenty of them, and very tasty. My son opted for Calamari and prawn, very paltry, four very small rings of calamari and only two prawns, despite this being the most expensive of the three starters. Mains:- I chose seafood...

This is a review for restaurant only. The upstairs level restaurant over looks rear car park and a nice view of the sea. We have frequented this establishment over the years, but it has changed owner since we were last there and the decor is still the same and is now a little dated. We had booked a table at the...

This is an old inn, with a smugglers cove and harbour nearby. There is a large bar and restaurant, which are popular with the locals, so some noise can be expected until late evening , though I did not notice it much. The bar retains its old character and décor (including old carpets), but upstairs the 'cabins' have been completely...

Stayed for one night whilst on business in the area. After a long drive I was warmly welcomed and shown straight to my room which had a glorious view of the North Sea. Wonderful meal with excellent service. Slept well in a comfortable bed and thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Would not hesitate to stay again when in the area.

I feel it is very worthwhile giving positive feedback when you have a good experience at a restaurant. I have enjoyed several meals here and I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. The decor is not very modern but every time I go it is very busy so that is the main thing

Stayed overnight in twin room with a shared bathroom. I was welcomed on arrival and although I arrived before the check in time, I was able to go to my room to freshen up and leave my bags. Staff were friendly and helpful and I felt very at home. Great sleep in a comfy bed and lovely walk to the...

Stopped for a coffee in the afternoon and we were confrontedby an older grey haired waitress with a severe attitude .she made it very plain that we weren't welcome ! Pointed us into an alcove and sullenly took our order.when I asked if they did any cakes or scones I was told "we don't do that sort of thing here...
