Stayed here for 4 nights. The room has everything except a mini bar. Bottles of local water are provided. Bath room just has a shower, not bath tub. Shampoo and soap come from dispensers. Towels are large and soft. The are 2 main down sides. The single bed rooms are tiny. And there is no elevator. About the size of...

Don't go there is you are disabled or have lots of luggage. Otherwise, it's a perfect getaway. I had to lug 30 kg of luggage up a myriad of staircases to the room. No lifts. Full stop. Food at the restaurant was very good but did not have the opportunity to try most of the menu. Lovely natural setting with...

Got taken to Woodbank House for an evening meal so can not rate the hotel. We sat in the bar area which was clean, bright and roomy. Staff gave excellent service throughout the meal. The menu was interesting and varied. All the food was enjoyed and eaten, with my starter of prawns on a risotto base and main or pork...

We had dinner in the bar area of Woodbank House. The food was excellent and the vegetarian in our party was very pleased with the choice available. The bar area can be a little noisy, maybe we should have asked for a table in the restaurant. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We don't like the modern decor. A...

Hard to find and the satnav took me along "road closed" tracks to the back of the alleged hotel. After some serious practice in reversing I found it. Hint: coming from Aberdeen you will see the name but if you approach from the west you have nae chance. Aha...there is a disabled parking space. Good. Disabled facilities end there though....

Our friends invited us to an overnight stay and birthday party at Woodbank House. The room was lovely, spacious and bright, the food was excellent, the staff could not do enough to help. As this was a Shell Hotel we will be unable to use it again but it was a memorable experience. Many thanks Woodbank House

This place is not open to public but only allowed by employee of the club. I had a chance to go because i was invited by a family friend during his daughters birthday. Well the menu isn'd anything special. In fact the variety is very lacking. The interior decoration was dated. The food was quite a wait. Since my parents...

Smart. Accomodating. Excellent service and staff. Accomodation was excellent and comfortable. Food was good. Rooms were pleasant. Staff were good. The very greatest thing of all was the comfort of accomodation. My dogs enjoyed the surrounding environment also.

This is not a normal hotel and you need to be a Shell employee or a sponsored guest to book a room. The facilities is very good except for the small rooms but if it is only for a short stay then it would be acceptable. The only issue is it is outside the city so you will need a...

I wanted to attend a meeting of local diabetic support. I have limited mobility. With the help of my helper and the receptionist I was manoeuvred up three steps into the front door, only half of which opened. My rollator had to be emptied and folded. Only then I was informed that the meeting was upstairs and there was no...
