Lunch here was an absolute delight. This is our first visit and all 10 of us felt truly spoiled. With allergies, fussy eater and more to deal with the staff were great. From starters, through mains, to deserts there was not a complaint to be made. Great value for money as excellent food and service made it worth every penny.

The mariner is my local and has a lovely welcoming cosy lounge bar with a fire and really good food. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We enjoy our Friday nights here There is also a lovely conservatory restaurant for special occasions.

Just back from a week's business trip to Aberdeen. When I telephoned to book I was made to feel most welcome and throughout my stay all of the staff made me feel like a valued guest. The lady in charge of the restaurant Karen was extremely friendly and did everything she could to put you at ease and make sure...

Lovely comfortable bed, good breakfast, friendly staff and a good location - warm and clean - plenty of hot water, big towels, extra pillows........spacious room with a desk for working at - loads of room in the car park. Some of the decor and soft furnishings (curtains/drapes in the dining room, armchairs in the bedroom etc) are old fashioned and...

Friendly staff, clean room and comfy bed. Continental breakfast was as you'd expect. No complaints. Ok distance to union street. Didn't eat in restaurant but it was packed and heard good things about food from locals who visit regularly. Would stay again and recommend to others. Decor a little dated and that's only reason for 4 star and not 5.

Clean but very dated room. Decor must be 1980s or early 1990s and it shows. The over bath shower was electric which in Scotland in winter delivers a trickle at best if you want warm water. Definitely not worth the full price rates, shop around for deals or for other hotels! Whilst I've not often stayed here I have used...

The Mariner Hotel is a wonderful and warming place to stay in Aberdeen. The prices are good and the rooms are nice. It is conveniently located and you can walk into town from there. Or take the bus. It is so simple. There are bus stops right out front on Great Western Road. You really must try the lobster in the...

This is the first time I had been here. I made the booking over the phone and I originally wanted to book into the Atlantis Restaurant, but it is closed on a Monday. The lady on the telephone was most helpful, explaining that we could still have the restaurant menu alongside the Bar, Market and Specials menus. They also accepted...

We organised a dinner, bed and breakfast overnight stay as a joint gift for our friends big birthdays and it was fantastic. We both had delightful rooms with a delicious dinner in a beautiful dining room and the wine and the service was first class. Breakfast is freshly cooked and served in a very relaxed environment. All in all couldn't...

This was our second visit to this hotel both visits were done through a voucher scheme. The price included dinner, bed & breakfast in a superior room. We actually stayed in the same room as last time. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom, lots of towels and a heated towel rail. The room was clean but needs...
