My second stay here and the food really is awful. Nothing appears to be freshly prepared from scratch in the evening, but instead bought in packets or tins. Breakfasts are marginally better, but that means 2/10 versus 1/10. Luckily I discovered Grants in town, so wandered off there, and had s great home-cooked from fresh meal.

Had a room facing the road which was not too noisy and I slept well in a comfortable bed.Good breakfast served. This is really the only hotel in town and is presently being extended. It was good to...

I stayed for two nights on business Rooms ,food (great choice) and location all great. It's a long time since I've had a freshly cooked breakfast to order. But best of all were the staff. I'll be back with my family and tour around the area It was work but felt like a mini break !

Stayed here last weekend while attending a christening locally. Clean, large room with comfortable bed. Glad the room had an iron and ironing board to press my partners shirt. Ate in the restaurant one night. Food and service both good. Probably the best sticky toffee pudding I've ever eaten! Realised I'd left something at the hotel after checkout, it was...

Stayed over 1 night break and it was a relaxing time. The hotel is well maintained and although there is major building work in progress it not interfere with the smooth running. The reception area is central to the dining and residential parts and the 2 girls at the desk were helpful. We had bar snacks and the menu is...
